In all deference to the headline, the same thing hss been happening to the Church since norvus ordo and the spirit of v2. Only thing francis did was bring it to the top!

Francis forgot the Church was built on Christ’s Teachings.

Francis would govern Rome as an autocrat whose “rule is shaped more by his rages and simmering resentments than by any theological agenda.”
Brother, the author said a mouthful. A small man, ill-tempered, intemperate in speech , bound by leftist ideology. He had charity for everyone except people who dared disagree with him

Ass-HOLINESS Pope Francis the Turd. Can the Catholic Church name two complete socialist losers to be Pope in a row? Except

That was actually a really good article, until it came to this:
Perhaps these questions will have to be settled by an ecumenical council tasked with cleaning up the mess Francis made.
Lord, spare us from that! The mess Francis made could be cleaned up by a Friday document drop by an orthodox Pope. It would be lovely to watch the secular press go apopletic as the last 12 years were erased in an afternoon.

My conspiracy theory is that he was installed because the church thought Obama had ushered in a socialist America, and the church needed to help push that agenda. Benedict supposedly resigned over health issues but in many ways was in better health for a long time before he died.

The Legacy Of Pope Francis Is Chaos, Confusion, And Division In The Catholic Church. . . I don't know that I agree. By serving as a counter-example, Pope Francis unified and hugely expanded the conservative and traditional elements of the Church. These include the majority of Catholics who actually believe in God, attend Mass, and are faithful to the rest of the Sacraments.
But now it would be good to have a Pope whose ambition is to serve Christ and His people.

Even this born & raised Lutheran could see what a train wreck this Pope was.
What a shame. :(
