The U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Air Force Academy will no longer consider race as a factor in admissions as the military schools had long done to boost enrollment of Black, Hispanic and other minorities, President Donald Trump's administration said on Friday. The changes were detailed in court filings, opens new tab by the U.S. Department of Justice in federal courts in New York and Colorado related to two lawsuits filed by the group that successfully persuaded the U.S. Supreme Court to ban race-conscious admissions at civilian universities.

AFA straight up told a kid of friends of ours that he was the “wrong color.” Great kid, grades/test scores, private pilot in high school, athlete, etc. That’s a direct quote from the air force rep on a phone conference call. They were not hiding their DEI bias AT ALL.
According to this author/researcher, ending race considerations at Annapolis would result in only a 1.9% percentage of black students, and 2.7% if one counts blacks recruited specifically to play sports
This would be a large drop from the present 10.5%
We can assume the other academies would show other large declines.

Meritocracy has proved to work the best for all regardless of where it’s applied.
Without question, this move will greatly improve our US military.
