Two American Airlines jet have had a minor collision on the runway at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport - just three months after a deadly crash near there. The Federal Aviation Administration said the wingtip of one aircraft struck another on Thursday afternoon. At least two members of Congress were aboard one of the jets. Nick LaLota, a New York Republican, said no-one was hurt when the wing of their stationary plane was "bumped" by another jet. Sixty-seven people died on 29 January when an Army helicopter collided in midair with a jetliner as it landed at the same airport.

Dodge-em cars are supposed to be in amusement parks-—not on landing areas at airports and not playing with airplanes.

That other time a tail was clipped by hitting a motorized baggage cart.

Why were so many reps on the same plane? I thought there was a rule about having so many on the same plane.

Would you feel entirely comfortable riding in a plane whose wing was “bumped” in its prior flight?

Awww, Congress’ personal airport is having troubles. Regular people shouldn’t be using it. Its operations are becoming like Congress itself and more people are probably going to die before it finally goes totally restricted for Congressmembers use only or just closes.

There's also been a helicopter crash that landed in the Hudson River in Manhattan.

And there were 5 house members on the plane at Reagan International that got clipped:

"Close the Reagan, it’s only there to accommodate the Pols"

Going home for a 3-day weekend. 5 House members on board the clipped plane. Two Republicans. Three RATS.

Might sound like nothing to you but I sure don’t want to be onboard when two fueled passenger jets make contact.

Reagan should have been shut down long ago, but it would inconvenience the swamp.

You think neither of the two planes went through inspection before being allowed to take off?

“ That’s a collision?”

A Republican congressman was on the plane. Bet the rats were hoping for an explosion. Wouldn’t put it past them.

I’m sure they did a complete, thorough job and discovered all damage.

Seems to be contradictory statements about the number of reps on board but what’s new? 2 or 5......Why are they getting out of town? Has the budget bill been passed?

I’ve had the Augusta National golf tournament on so I can see the azaleas - don’t remember which hole it is where the area is loaded with them. Mine have been beautiful but a storm came through and did it’s best to ruin them...Heard you had snow and very cold weather!
