‘Deep State’ Instructed Europe to Continue Conflict in Ukraine — Georgian PM
TASS ^ | 4/7/25

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the same thing is happening with financing of organizations engaged in "anti-state processes," including in Georgia - these organizations are now funded only from the EU

TBILISI, April 7. /TASS/. The so-called deep state has ordered European structures to continue military operations in Ukraine, said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

"The deep state has instructed European institutions to continue the war in Ukraine. Before that, American structures were also involved in this process. Now the deep state has exclusively tasked European structures with prolonging the war in Ukraine," Kobakhidze told reporters.

According to him, the same thing is happening with financing of organizations engaged in "anti-state processes," including in Georgia - these organizations are now funded only from the EU. Kobakhidze stressed that the deep state uses European bureaucracy for its own purposes, while Georgia has to look out for its national interests, which are to "prevent what happened in Ukraine."

As Kobakhidze noted, Ukraine is basically destroyed and has suffered enormous casualties, but can boast good cooperation with the European bureaucracy. According to him, Georgia managed to avoid such a scenario and the opening of a second front of confrontation with Russia, which angered the deep state.

The EU wants Ukraine and Russia to destroy each other so the EU can move in, absorb them into the EU and create a super state that stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific...a 4th Reich, if you will...crazy?

Not crazy!

This is one example: British PM David Cameron (before the voters in the UK surprised him and voted for Brexit) during a visit to Kazakhstan said the EU should extend its membership deeper into the former Soviet Union, calling for its (EU’s) borders to run from the Atlantic to the Urals.(Mon 1 Jul 2013).

“end the nation state”

The thing is that many countries AREN’t nation states - the USA and the UK aren’t nation states and arguably neither is Germany.

The United States is not a nation-state but a federated state.

The classic definition of a nation-state would be a unitary state, ruled by one ethnicity. for example: Japan is a nation-state for the Japanese people. Poland is a nation-state for the Polish people (though I would also argue that the “Polish nation” has assimilated many people over the centuries - like the Wedels!).

The US is a multi-ethnic pluralistic federation. There are many ethnicities and cultures in the US. People can identify with their religion, with their ethnicity, with their state, and still be American. We have shared sovereignty between states and the federal government..

The US is a federation, not a nation-state. Not everyone agrees enough to govern in one state. Vermont is not going to agree with Alaska, Alaska is not going to agree with California, and California is not going to agree with Florida. The US would be ungovernable as a nation-state.

Similarly India is not a nation-state and neither is Switzerland - both are federations of nation-states.

I would also argue that Germany is not really a nation-state despite Bismarck’s best efforts as in many ways a Bavarian v/s a person from Holstein are separate nations
A person speaking Frisian (from Holstein) CANNOT understand a person speaking Bavarian — they are wrongly marked as dialects when they are truly languages

And finally, China and Russia ARE nation states that have forcibly assimilated large chunks of their neighbors.

The original “Chinese” may be the HuaXia people who lived between the yellow and yangtze rivers, but ever since the Zhou dynasty (1200 BC), the neighbors of the Huaxia people (later calling themselves the Han people) have assimilated themselves — in fact the craziest is that the CONQUERORS of China seem to become sinicized within 2 to 3 generations: the Jurchen Jin dynasty in the 11th century, the Mongols in the 13th century, the Jurchen Manchus in the 17th century.

The Russians or to be precise the Muscowites absorbed the Finno-Ugric tribes from the north, the Turkic tatars in Kazan, Astrakhan etc., the Baltic Germans, etc. etc.

So those are assimilating nation states.

France is a self-consuming nation state where the Parisians absorbed the Occitan country in the south (which spoke a language closer to Catalan - in contrast to the Germanic influence Frankish language of Paris) as well

Historically speaking it does really look like “nations” are created from other nations (like the “English” were, prior to the Wessex reconquest, really Mercians, Saxons, Angles, Danes etc. etc. or the Polish were Vistulans, Kaszube, etc. etc.

Most of the EU didn’t want to bring in Ukraine into the EU - prior to 2014, they were on the pathway, but that would take decades. Prior to 2022, that improved a bit (they reduced corruption), but it was still decades away.

No entity or person in the EU wants to bring Russia into the EU.

And seriously, calling the EU a “reich” is flattering it - it is a “everyone needs to agree” confederation that takes ages to make any decision.

The UK situation is unusual in that there are four constituent nations with three having constituent assemblies with limited powers but the largest, England, with 84% of the UK population, having no constituent assembly. Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland have separate identities, with Northern Ireland developing a separate identity based mainly on being Protestant as opposed to the overwhelmingly Catholic identity of the rest of their island. The UK is a federation, even though there is not the same federal structure that Germany, the United States, and Switzerland have.

Those are 4 separate nations.

The NI identity is more about being “Irish” - and even in 1920, it was only a slim majority being Catholic.

As of the 2021 census, the most recent comprehensive data available, Northern Ireland’s religious composition is as follows:

Catholic: 45.7% of the population either identify as Catholic or were brought up in the Catholic faith. This figure comes from combining responses to the census questions on current religion and religion of upbringing.

Protestant: 43.5% identify as Protestant or were raised in Protestant or other Christian denominations (excluding Catholics). This includes major groups like Presbyterians (16.6%), Church of Ireland (11.5%), Methodists (2.4%), and other smaller Christian denominations.

I would note that the “Church of Ireland” are folks who are pro-Irish independence. After all the first President of Ireland was Church of Ireland

The treaty of Westfalia was the beginning of the nation state separate from Empire

However, I would also argue that those nation states were still part of the western elite Roman model. So the Roman empire has continued with fragmented nations held together by the debt based financial system in militarism. When someone gets out of line like Russia, they come together to end that threat

The treaty of westphalia gave power to princes. Not to nations.

It was the French revolution that created the nation state.

And the French created the nation state of France by forcibly assimilating the other nations in the French kingdom.

Sorry, you lost me. What nation states and Roman empire are you referring to?

The Roman empire ended in 1453.

Thank you for finding an interesting Russian information and propaganda source for us to worry about. I wonder if this guy Kobakhidze is the same person I earlier read many Georgian’s were against because he was so pro Russia. Also Turkey has been taking interest in the future of Georgia.
