Xavier Becerra, who recently served as President Joe Biden’s Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), announced Wednesday that he is running for governor of California, hoping to succeed termed-out Gavin Newsom.

Becerra ran HHS during the era of vaccine mandates, when the administration forced Americans out of jobs for refusing to comply.

In a recent interview with the New York Times, he said he had no regrets about forcing people to take vaccines […]

His tenure did have one lingering effect: Becerra lost track of tens of thousands of migrant children who were allowed into the U.S. under Biden’s loose border policies. (HHS is responsible for the Office of Refugee Resettlement.) …

An issue that will be conveniently hidden in Xavier Becerra’s gubernatorial agenda:
Becerra’s HHS was responsible for the Office of Refugee Resettlement.

And during his uncelebrated tenure, Becerra lost track of tens of thousands
of migrant children let into the US under Biden’s loose border policies.

FBI Raids Oakland Home Tied to Campaign Contribution Laundering Scheme:
High-Profile Connections Include Biden, Harris, Newsom, and Secy Becerra
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/ ^ | 6/25/2024 | JIM HOFT
FR Posted on 6/25/2024, 8:43:55 PM by bitt

Details have emerged about two individuals at the heart of an FBI political corruption investigation in Oakland, California, which saw the raid of Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao’s home last week. The Gateway Pundit previously reported that FBI agents raided a home owned by Democrat Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao. An FBI spokesperson told the press that agents were conducting “court-authorized law enforcement” at Thao’s property.

The focus of the investigation is on David Duong, CEO of California Waste Solutions, and his son, Andy Duong. Both have deep-seated ties to Democratic politicians and businesses, NBC Bay Area reported. Their business dealings and political connections are under intense scrutiny following evidence that suggests they orchestrated a complex scheme to circumvent campaign finance laws and funnel illegal donations to various Democratic candidates.

A quick look at Andy Duong’s Instagram page reveals frequent posts with high-profile figures in the political world – including President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Gavin Newsom, AG Rob Bonta, then-HHS Secy and former Cali AG Xavier Becerra.

According to an investigation by the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC), a state oversight body, Andy Duong was the true source of at least 93 contributions to multiple local campaign committees when he created a campaign contribution laundering scheme to benefit his family-owned company, “California Waste Solutions.”

The report alleges that Duong used intermediaries or straw donors instead of disclosing CWS as the true source of the contributions. abc7 News reported The list also includes elected leaders from other states such as Nevada AG Aaron Ford. (Excerpt) Read more at thegatewaypundit.com ...

Biden’s HHS Secy Xavier Becerra Violated Hatch Act, Office of Special Counsel Says
Daily Caller ^ | April 18, 2023| BRIANNA LYMAN / FR Posted by Red Badger

HHS Secy Xavier Becerra violated the Hatch Act after he advocated for the election of a Democrat, a new investigation found. Special Counsel Henry J. Kerner said in a letter to President Joe Biden that Becerra spoke “in his official capacity” at an awards gala in September of 2022, breaking the law.

“As explained in the accompanying report, OSC concluded that Secretary Becerra violated the Hatch Act by expressing support for Senator Alex Padilla’s reelection while speaking in his official capacity at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Annual Awards Gala on September 15, 2022,” Kerner wrote.

“In delivering his speech, Secretary Becerra impermissibly mixed his personal electoral preference with official remarks,” the letter continued. “While federal employees are permitted to express support for candidates when speaking in their personal capacity, the Hatch Act restricts employees from doing so when speaking as a government official.”

“With a presidential election approaching next year, this report offers an opportunity to deter violations by reminding federal employees at all levels of the Hatch Act’s restrictions.” (RELATED: Biden HHS Secretary Unable To Say How Many Gov’t Workers Actually Show Up To Work In Federal Buildings)

Becerra said he regrets his “inadvertent violation,” according to The Washington Post. “While I did not realize at the time that my off-the-cuff remarks concerning my personal voting intentions were in violation of the Hatch Act, I now understand why they were not permitted.”

“Xavier Becerra ... said he had no regrets about forcing people to take vaccines”

This idiot is perfect for California. (I do hate it that conservatives and moderates in Cal. have to put up with these authoritarians, but the people who vote them in deserve what they get).

We don’t want him as governor. Too much a racist who doesn’t believe in a nation’s borders. We might end up having Kamala dumped on us as her Consultation Prize. Woe is us, to use bad English.

Ol' "Secret Server" Becerra - had an illegal secret server in his Congressional office. Got subpoenaed and Rockforded his way out of it - by moving to California and becoming State Attorney General!

The most amazing way of avoiding a subpoena I've ever seen.
