A curiosity about the DC District Court’s judges
American Thinker ^ | John M. Contino

As Beth Brelje recently reported in The Federalist,

  1. Five of the fifteen judges sitting on the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia were born outside the United States.
  2. All five of those foreign-born judges somehow managed to get selected to rule on controversial Trump cases.
  3. All five of those five judges had zero experience as a judge before being appointed to one of the most influential courts in the land.
The recently infamous James Boasberg, chief judge of the D.C. District Court, is one of the 15 principal judges on that court. There are an additional 10 older, senior judges who occasionally hear cases, all of whom were born in the U.S.

This seeding of foreign-born judges to the D.C. court is another “transformational innovation” that can be traced back to Barack Obama, who in 2014 appointed Judge Tanya Sue Churkan, born in Kingston, Jamaica. “Before sitting on federal court, she had no experience as a judge. Chutkan is overseeing the legal challenge to DOGE’s work to slash excess government spending.”

Obama also appointed Judge Amit P. Mehta to the D.C. court. Mehta also had no previous experience as a judge. Mehta was born in Patan, Gujarat, India. ... He was raised in Maryland. Mehta will oversee four January 6 civil cases that aim to blame Trump for injuries and squeeze money, court time, and political embarrassment out of him.
Joe Biden picked up where Obama left off when he nominated Judge Ana Cecilia Reyes, born in Montevideo, Uruguay, yet another appointee with no prior experience as a judge.

She is the first openly LGBT Latina to be appointed to this court. Reyes presided over an objection to Trump’s executive order declaring “gender dysphoria” as “inconsistent” with the “high standards for troop readiness”...

BAN THE JUDGES FROM USING ALL U.S. GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS, PROPERTIES, FORMS OF COMMUNICATIONS, AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS.

Federal judges - except for the USSC - use federal facilities and communications that are on the Executive Branch foundation.

(The USSC building, and its immediately adjacent property "to the curb" are on the Judicial Branch foundation.)

Federal judges are NOT the management of Executive Branch operations.

The Executive Branch - as a courtesy and with some deference - "respects" the LAWFUL Judicial Branch functions that occur on the Executive Branch foundation.

But the federal judges DO NOT have any Constitutional right to operate there, on the Executive Branch foundation.

NOBODY has an obligation to obey any law, any order, that is un-Constitutional.

Extra-Constitutional is also un-Constitutional.

"Legal" is not necessarily "Lawful."

Follow the lawful; be aware of the foundations.

The senate has the sole decision on these judges. The president only nominates. The senate is causing the United States. By the way, not one judge appointed since trumps been president his second time. Biden got 270 or so. We need to exceed that preferably in the next two years:

I really want Congress to get rid of the DC circuit court. Farm out the senior judges and eliminate the junior judges and send Boasberg to Greenland.

Perhaps the (lead) plaintiff should be able to block 10 percent of the judges in a district from handling their case and the (lead) defendant should be able to block 30 percent of the judges in a district from handling their case, just like lawyers get to unquestionably block jurors in legal cases.

DC doesn’t even have enough residents to support even ONE Congressional Representative. As it is now, DC gets one token non-voting Representative in the House.

Perhaps a case against the executive department with possible impact of more than one person should require the backing of a Congressional leader of the same political party as the President.

The DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia courts might be merged.

C’mon folks...
We KNOW why they were put there.
NOW, let’s throw them out.
This is NOT hard.

Scumbags in black robes running America who were not born in America and never received ONE VOTE. I don’t think the U.S. government was created to be run this way. These fleabags don’t have any authority to do what they are going. The District of Corruption IS THE U.S. Government. Why the hell do they need “judges”? Oh. Right. The U.S. Government is corrupt.

Need to put proper blame here - the Senate!
People like Lady Graham need to be held accountable.
He and others need to be constantly asked how voting for the appointment of judges who have no past judicial experience is proper discharge of their duties?

It’s actually six foreign judges.

Jimmy Boasberg was born in San Francisco, which is not part of the United States as far as I know.
