On Friday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) responded to a question on if he called for then-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley to resign over his conversations with China over a possible American attack by saying Milley only did so “Because he was so concerned about signals that the Chinese believed we were about to” attack.
After an exchange over whether Coons called for the resignation of then-Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin over other issues, co-host Joe Kernen asked, “When Gen. Milley said he would tell China if we were ever going to launch an attack –.”

He committed treason. Fire hell. Court Martial
Benedict Arnold was “concerned” too. So was Vidkun Quisling.
Milley Vanilly should face the firing squad !
Its always “That’s not the same thing” when it comes to the commies..ask Coons if he asked anyone to resign or be fired after 13 servicemembers were slaughtered in Afghanistan, the answer is NO..ask Coons if he asked anyone to resign or be fired when the Pentagon leaked Israel’s war plans for Iran back in October/November of last year..the answer is NO
Coons needs to resign.
What signals? When? Where? Coons is lying.
Milley was out of line. The President is the Commander in Chief, not some four star flunkey.
Coons is a cockroach.
“concerned” is that how you spell “insubordination” or “treason”??? You people make me want to vomit and to break something.
Democrats have ZERO standing to criticize anything related to National Security, so I don't give a rat's ass what they think or scream about.
I have nothing but contempt for these people. And Trump justifiably feels the same way.
Even if there was a significant breach of security, I am willing to cut this team some slack because they are working on our behalf.
General Milley violated his oath of office. The Constitution unequivocally made the president commander in chief of the military. Therefore, civilian control of the military became sacrosanct and could never be violated. Remember that Truman had to fire MacArthur over that issue.
Vietnam provided an example of how legitimate behavior could have forestalled warfare options. McNamara stood between the JCOS and Johnson about Vietnam War escalation. His job became easier, because the JCOS often behaved more like bureaucrats than soldiers, sailors, or airmen.
However, the JCOS finally united, and there was a reckoning described in the article titled “Vietnam 1965: The Day It Became the Longest War”. They were concerned about committing to a land war. After making their presentation, which Johnson turned into a charade, they were treated to an unnerving and degrading performance.
“He screamed obscenities, he cursed them personally, he ridiculed them for coming to his office with their ‘military advice.’ Noting that it was he who was carrying the weight of the free world on his shoulders, he called them filthy names-shitheads, dumb shits, pompous assholes-and used ‘the F-word’ as an adjective more freely than a Marine in boot camp would use it.”
Based on what occurred, a proper course of action for them would have been to resign, and in civilian clothes, hold a press conference to explain their reasons for resigning. As junior officers, they had already risked much more than pensions and resumes. If truly disturbed, Milley should have done likewise.
Bravo 👏
Get every name from Milley and clean up whatever is left.
And Baldy Goofball Big Smiled about it
When is he going to change his racist name?
Milley is a chinese mole.
“… concerned about signals that the Chinese believed we were about to” attack.”
This leads me to imagine that Coons’ Chinese handlers told him they were worried.
