"We're gonna have hearing on all of that. Judge Boasberg - it starts to look like it's totally political."

"You got this judge making this crazy decision - 'turn the plane around, bring the bad guys back to America.'" - @Jim_Jordan

Jordan says Sen. @ChuckGrassley may also hold hearings.

This is good if he shows up. Let America see this hack answer about his five years of Trump persecution and his current Constitutional shredding.

Ho hum. Maybe Jordan will actually pursue action rather than have show trials with no results, as he’s been doing for the past several years. Talk is cheap as the saying goes....

Have the hearing on Saturday morning and don’t tell Boaburger about it. Then nail him for not showing up and staying home to watch “Power Rangers” with his daughter.

can’t another DC judge decide that Congress may not hold hearings to judge this judge?

no different than telling the head of the American justice system and Executive that he cannot enforce executive agency rules and HR matters.

He won’t show up. He’ll claim that the Judiciary is independent from the Legislature.

Don’t bother explaining it to Supreme Court Justice Roberts. It’s beyond his intellect.

He’ll claim that the Judiciary is independent from the Legislature.

Isn’t the principle of independence of each other among the three branches of government the point of the dispute?

I think the judge will decline to appear. His branch doesn’t answer to anyone. Even if Congress dissolved some of the lower courts SCOUTUS would rule 5-4 that they can’t.

These committees have no power beyond inquiries...what you're asking for is not possible.

And you can't just say...well, the judge isn't playing nice...

I’m sure that will lead to nothing. It’s just flak.

I hope the DOJ looks at what role his daughter plays in things like counseling illegal immigrants to lie on their asylum requests, etc. - which Trump ordered Bondi to prosecute lawyers for. I don’t know if she is a lawyer with her employer, or what her role is, but I hope they check into it. I also hope they look into the finances of her company and just how much it receives from taxpayer dollars.

The guy absolutely should not be on the FISA court, if he isn’t absolutely livid at being lied to by Klinesmith (which seems apparent by his slap on the wrist at somebody who used perjury to try to basically undo an election). Then again, Boasberg himself is basically trying to undo an election so condemning Klinesmith would be to condemn himself as well.

And it would be good if they checked into his relationship with Chief Justice Roberts as well, and whether this Inn of Courts group that Boasberg is president of (that half-says it is affiliated with the countrywide group and half doesn’t, just to keep things murky) is being used like the monthly restaurant meetings of Clinton’s “Magnificent Seven”, to divvy up the cases that involved Clinton and his cronies.

I also wish they would look at the role of James Clapper and John Brennan in possibly extorting any and all of these judges; that was, after all, the reason they commissioned Dennis Montgomery to write software allowing “The Hammer” (massive supercomputer) to get all the communications and financial records of judges, justices, and media folks. That whole issue needs to be dug up and truly investigated instead of being buried by James Comey.

Hopefully the legislative branch can get a bill to Trump to sign that bans these judges from issuing injunctions that impact the whole country. That could stop future crap like this. I don’t know what happens to rulings already issued if Congress would disband the DC District Court, but it’s way overdue to deal with the fact that the swamp has been holding the rest of the country hostage via these corrupt judges for a very long time.

Somebody suggested that all cases involving the federal government be randomly assigned to other districts throughout the country. That would help, if there were checks to make sure that it truly was random assignment. And the people in NY who are admitting outright that the Jack Smith grand jury cases were NOT assigned randomly need to be canned and salt thrown on the ground behind them.

He’s officially said the law doesn’t support Trump’s actions.

I’ve read an argument that the law does (but in a hard to prove manner).

If the judge is right, federal law needs to be changed.

Congress needs his testimony.
