Comedian Bill Maher had two words for those who would criticize his scheduled meeting with President Trump at the White House: “&&&- you.”
During an interview with comedian Andrew Schulz on his Club Random podcast, Maher discussed his scheduled meeting with President Trump and how it would bother hard leftists.
“Kid Rock was here a couple of weeks ago and he said ‘I want you to meet Trump. I’m going to take you to the White House.’ So now we’re going to do that,” he said.

“””Comedian Bill Maher “””
COMEDIAN???? That’s weird way to spell JAGOFF.
Another way for Trump to sow chaos within the dems. Similar to Trump thanking Schumer for his leadership on passing the CR.
Lmao 🤣
I dont like it.
But Trump has a way of always flipping things on their heads in his favor and I dont think this will be any different.
He’s a master at it.
And MAYBE, very unlikely but MAYBE, maher is seeing a tiny dot of light...perhaps it will grow.
He’s kinda out of touch with the moronic youth woke group at this point.
I still greatly dislike him but anything is possible.
And with Trump being a GREAT Supporter of Israel, maher may be getting drawn to that.
That’s ok. Whatever reason is good enough :)
I agree with that. President Trump will meet and talk with anyone. It infuriates the liberals. They think you are not allowed to talk to the “enemy”.
Kid Rock invited him to come with him.
Ratings whore.
Good on ya Bill.
Bill has drifed into kind of a left of center Libertarian place. The past few years he’s been mor than happy to attack far left/Progressive idiots. Even he recognizes them. He’s pissed off plenty of liberals not towing any line anymore. He’s still a nut case most of the time though.
Yeah, someone online said it best, “The Dem people with the money have no beliefs, and the people with the beliefs have no money.”
Dems get really pissed when you bring up the fact they’re a ideological minority. However, the radicals have dragged the party too far to the left, and the people with the money have let them do so. Now that they’ve gone too far to the left, the money-side can’t drag them back.
If Trump starts wooing the money side over to him, the radicals will bolt and start their own party. Then it’s game over.
So was Ellen Degeneres, jimmy fallon, rosie o’donnell, Jimmy Kimmel and hold on to your hat...joy behar.
The common denominator?
They all waited until they were independently wealthy before they came out of the uber liberal closet.
That is how I see it.
I liked Maher and watched his show when he came on the scene with “Politically Incorrect” before I stopped watching television. But over time, I grew weary of his schtick, so by 1998 or so when I stopped watching television, I had already stopped watching him.
I grew to view him in the same light I view Bill O’Reilly, and much for the same reasons.
But I give Maher credit that he would even visit and talk to Trump, and it also tells you something about Trump, that he would talk to someone like Maher.
Trump dos seem like he would talk to anyone, and as always, there is the possibility that person will change their mind about him, as does often happen.
“””They all waited until they were independently wealthy before they came out of the uber liberal closet.”””
I believe it was Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert, that described it as having “” @#@## you money””. Once you get the cash you can say what you want.
One of Trump’s defining characteristics seems to be: He will talk to anyone.
Bill Maher can be funny. Sometimes very funny. He is basically a lefty that is trying to staddle the policical fence. Not a dumb move these days.
There are plenty of Lefties who are too far gone and it would be useless to reason with. John Oliver and Kathy Griffin come to mind.
**Until this moment, I never knew Maher is/was a comedian.**
Think Andy Kauffman.
He has severe TDS and will be unable to hide his disdain.
Maher has an inflated view of his intelligence. The smartest people in the country are with Trump. That might be enough to cause Maher to reconsider his opinion of Trump. I wouldn’t bet on it, but there’s a chance. Contact with Trump might move Maher.
“...And Then?....”
Dude wheres my car ref.
