Judge set to shut his order down in 3...2...1

Unfortunately he can’t get this passed without congressional approval, and it is highly unlikely he can get several democrats to vote with him. He needs 60 votes I beleive. He does have other options though

The Education Department is one of the smallest Cabinet-level departments. Its $268 billion appropriations last year represented 4% of the U.S. budget.

So we have wasted TRILLIONS since Carter started this BS department and scores have not budged one iota. Time to cancel it.

Yup. I do think that whereas the left are vicious vengeful people full of hate that they will attack homeschooling and Christian schooling and privste schools as a result. Illinois is doing just that right now, and will likely get wo4se if funding is cut, and as well, liberal states will massively increase school taxes as a result.

The fight has just begun I think- gonna get painful for those schools 8 mentioned unfortunately, and for tax payers- hochul has already threatened raising school taxes-

But something has to be done! Liberals have asta4dized the whole school curriculum to the point that it is nothing but a far left indoctrination center now where kids come out dumber than they went in, and far uglier and hateful too.

The apologists for the DoE are disgusting dishonest. Look at outcomes now vs 1978. The DoE failed. Anyone honest knows it failed.

How was the U.S. Federal Department of Education founded?
ChatGPT said:
The U.S. Department of Education was founded on May 4, 1980, under the administration of President Jimmy Carter. The creation of the department followed a long history of federal involvement in education, but its establishment consolidated education-related functions into a single federal agency.

Before the department’s creation, education responsibilities were spread across several federal agencies. The Department of Education’s formation was largely driven by efforts to improve the quality of education and ensure federal support for local and state education systems.

In 1979, President Carter proposed the creation of the Department of Education as a part of his campaign promise to make the federal government more effective and focused. The department was designed to serve as a support agency for public education and to promote educational opportunities for all Americans.

The U.S. Department of Education was established when Congress passed the Department of Education Organization Act, which was signed into law by President Carter. This act officially created the department, merging functions from the Office of Education (previously within the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare) and other related agencies. The department’s purpose is to oversee federal education funding, enforce federal education laws, and promote access to quality education for all students in the U.S.
