A married Illinois special education teacher has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old student during a tutoring session, according to prosecutors.
Christina Formella, 30, was busted in the Chicago suburb of Downers Grove on Sunday — days after a student told police she molested him in a Downers Grove South High School classroom in December 2023.
Formella — who married her college sweetheart in August 2024 — also coached soccer at the school.

Yes. Her story that the special ed kid stole her phone and sent naughty messages to himself is very convincing. It is a pretty sophisticated blackmail scheme.
Need Laz confirmation before jumping to conclusions. 🤔
Student must have had a very credible story for them to arrest her.
Not guilty!
If she’s innocent she needs to contact a fully certified private investigator/lie detector administrator and have her story verified. He must be prepaid and allowed to release his professional opinion to authorities. He may be called as a witness to help her defense.
Plenty of volunteers if these teachers are looking for consenting adults for molestation...
The photos have me leaning towards not guilty.
FTA:
“She [mother of victim] allegedly came across text messages between her son and Formella that discussed sexual contact — and even a relationship.”
She was just instructing the student about “special” education. The type of special treatment you get at massage parlors.
I have't seen one of these 'not guilty' threads in a very long while.
It's what I wrote about on the 16th, about the reason for knowing about the beauty contest:
Excerpt (LINK):
Now, we know that Esther became queen because she won a beauty contest, but what did that have to do with anything in the future? Why was this important to know? She wasn't merely attractive -- she was the queen of the beauty contest.Okay, it's what got her into the palace, but why that specific avenue? It's probably explained in the commentaries somewhere already, but a certain pair of scenes jumps right out on account of FR's legendary "Not Guilty" verdict. As we all know, if a women is beautiful enough, she can do nothing wrong. No crime is too outrageous.

See... Esther was plainly, obviously NOT GUILTY! We know that for a *fact* because she won the beauty contest.
It's like the entire world is running off of a predictable Purim Formella.
You should FReep more often. They’re here plenty, though it’s not always teachers.
always mommy! worrying that a pretty girl might give her son a bj.
You are absolutely disgusting. Special needs individuals in almost all cases lack the ability to make consensual decisions. That is a violation of that young mans privacy and body.
I bet you wouldn't feel the same way if a male teacher seduced your special needs daughter into a bj.
For this kind of crime, beauty may be relevant to likelihood of guilt. However Hadasha was obviously guilty of entering the court without being summoned—so likelihood of guilt was not relevant...only the King’s will was.
Esther was highly favored by the Keeper of the Harem, a eunuch named Hegai, who made sure she got the best beauty treatments and the best foods......................
Disagree on that "almost all" assumption. I had tons of special need students and most were very capable of making decisions like that. Special needs now, is a very broad spectrum classification.
I would dis-agree with your statement that almost all special needs lack ability to make these decisions. After the IDEA act in early 90’s it is a very wide net that includes special needs. Not like it used to be.
Best defense is to change her last name to “Biden.” Then she can molest kids all day long.
