Whether or not they vote to shut down the government today, Democrats have proven one thing: They are really bad at messaging.
Laying out their political narrative on funding the government should have begun on Jan. 3, when this session of Congress began. Instead, as of lunch time on Wednesday, the party was still trying to puzzle out what it’s going to say.
That’s just not the way to do it. Democrats need to have a consistent, effective message that everyone can understand. This shouldn’t be that hard. In the Trump administration, they’ve been given the fattest, juiciest target in American political history.....
So let’s try something different: centrist populism.
The message should start with the fact that Trump is taking us for a ride. He ran on a promise to make prices go down quickly. He ran on a promise to stand up for regular people. He’s not doing any of that.
Trump talks a lot about tariffs and slashing government. But the only thing he has to say about rising prices is that they’re going to go up because of tariffs — and he’s “OK with that.”
Trump claims he’s going to make America richer, but he’s not talking about our America. He’s talking about his America — the America of billionaires and the 0.1 percent.

I've watched some @walkaway vids and several mention that the dems had no agenda or policies, it was all just anti-Trump. Looks like the rats intend to keep digging.
They don’t know how to do that. They are at war with the people. It makes sense. To Communists, people are cattle.

That system has been destroyed over the last 30 years with the Deep State/Domininant Mediea (the Mediacracy) trading credibility for short term political power.
They have no credibility left. Only a small minority of voters believe them any more. It is how they lost bigly.
What they need to do is to build credibility. To do so they have to abandon their false assumptions about reality.
When they do that, their whole identity has to change. They might as well build a new party from scratch.

The American people know what the Democrats stand for.
The voters had a clear choice on election day and they choose President Trumps plan on saving America over Kamala Harris’ plan (what ever that was which is still not clear other then keep doing what Biden was doing).
They already focus on the people: freaks, trannies, illegals, freeloaders and anyone else who isn’t a white male. That’s their power base. For all time.

In politics if you have to “puzzle out” what you’re going to say you are probably a liar.
No money, no focus.
The problem with the democrat messaging, is the message itself. Democrats let this funding bill go through because Trump would love to let go a third of the government workers right now. And if the bill does not go through he could declare an emergency and override the courts, shutting down the government faster and without worry of courts or politics.
Democrats are defending war. Democrats are defending waste and abuse. They are defending workers who do not show up. They are defending woke schools. Some how they are completely outside the wishes of 80% of America. They can hold on to Abortion. Though Trump has pushed that issue to the states. All these issues were hiding behind Abortion. Democrats cared about one thing, their abortions. Now that that is not there. We can see all the other issues. And they are not popular or even close. Use your best propaganda. Rachael and Joy will not be able to spin this.

The Liberals dont get it, and I am afraid to tell them. I will say the problems, despite what this author writes, are not about messaging. No, the messages were clear:
1. The legal system is a plaything that when in power democrats use to attack political opponents and silence dissent
2. They are so corrupt, when the occupy the White House the person they voted for isn’t making the decisions or signing anything
3. They don’t care about ‘government’, they care about the money they can steal.
4. They will spend into inflation to pay off their people while the economy rots and the people suffer.
5. They will launder money via front companies like Acorn and Act Blue to advocate for antagonistic nations, terrorists, cartels, or anybody else that will fund them.
6. They don’t care a bit about American Union workers, except ‘government union’ workers, the rest can be jobless from other nations predatory Tariffs.
7. They don’t want to hear the truth, they want to censor it preferably with taxpayer money.
8. They wish to weaken the military so we are more vulnerable to attack, because war is good for business!
9. They take donations mostly from big business, Hollywood, and billionaires, while they claim to be about the little guy.
10. They do everything they can to damage American small business by senseless regulations and government interference.
11. They lie, but really support the ‘great replacement’ because they believe they will blindly vote democrat.
12. They poor money from House and the senate with CR after CR for an incompetent POTUS wasting money and paying off cronies, but scream defund within 5 days of Trump taking office because he is trying to help the nation.
Thats why they are on the 20% of virtually every issue. The messaging is being heard loud and clear.

They wish to weaken the military so as to be able to destroy the United States of America.
It used to be that Democrats could say they were the party of the working class, but working class people have flocked to Trump, leaving Democrats as the party of minorities and freaks.
