US District Judge Beryl Howell, an Obama appointee, blocked part of President Trump’s executive order barring employees from DNC law firm Perkins Coie from entering federal buildings.
Beryl Howell granted Perkins Coie’s request for a TRO for part of Trump’s executive order and said the president violated the law firm’s due process.
“Howell granted the firm’s request for a temporary restraining order for some sections of Trump’s order. The parts being blocked include its limitations on government contracts with clients of the firm and the potential restrictions it puts on the firm’s employees, such as bans on hiring those employees for government positions or barring their access to federal buildings,” CNN reported.
Beryl Howell told the DOJ lawyer that it sent “chills down my spine” to hear that Trump has the power to bar government business with any company it chooses.
“Your view is, ‘Don’t be chilled, judge. You can just trust the president to draw the right line, and yes, he has that power?’” Howell asked, according to CNN. “And that’s the government’s position here?”
“100 percent,” Chief of Staff to Attorney General Pam Bondi Chad Mizelle said. “The president has every right to take that action.”
BREAKING: Judge Howell has *blocked* the Trump administration from enforcing Trump’s executive order seeking to block Perkins Coie (and its clients) from all government business and buildings.

President Trump last week stripped security clearances of the employees at DNC law firm Perkins Coie.
Recall that Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid law firm Perkins Coie more than $1 million to hire oppo research firm Fusion GPS to peddle the bogus ‘Trump-Russia’ dossier during the 2016 election.

I bet it does send chills down your linguini spine, and Trump does have the power.
This will crumble fast. Wildly usurps executive authority. This ruling will come back hard on that judge.
I knew it! I knew it would be an Obama judge or something
How does this judge have jurisdiction
If Congre$$ and $COTUS don’t get their acts together will the Judicial Branch overpower the Legislative and Executive Branches and become the ruling Branch?
There’s the “US District Court for DC” again
It is the DOJ and DC Deep State’s political kangaroo court.
Congress created it, Congress should eliminate it (don’t hold your breath....)
he can safely ignore this. The President is the final say on security clearances. No judge can order them granted or revoked. It is a plenary power.
Does the judge’s order describe exactly what “due process” needs to happen before fully implementing the executive order?
The government is shutting down on Saturday. No more Judges.
No jurisdiction over who a president pulls clearance from. This mudge so overstepped as to turn inside out.
The government business side should be a no-brainer in benefit of President Trump. The government buildings side is where I think the judge may have a small case.
If compelled to be in the building by existing issues - such as being the counsel of record on a federal lawsuit - they have to be admitted to the courthouse. They do NOT have to be admitted to any executive branch office.
Hahaha...keep exposing yourselves you socialist pricks.
Methinks the term “Obama Judge” should be raised to the upper ranks of Oxymorons. We’ve seen the legal laughables that have been oozed by that gang.
President Trump was elected by the people. The judge was appointed.
What does our constitution say about a judge overruling an election. Who has the authority.
Meh. Lots of smoke very little fire. Trump can get what he wants many other ways, just though the discretionary actions of his Executive staff. And like the others, most of this will be appealed and reversed anyway.
The least shocking headline of forever!
