Representative Don Bacon (R-NE) said Monday on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that President Donald Trump was playing into the hands of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Ukraine conflict.
Host Pamela Brown said, “Ukrainian President Zelensky will also be in Saudi Arabia but is not expected to attend these talks. Do you believe the white House is sidelining Zelensky in this peace process?”
Bacon said, “That’s a terrible mistake not to have the Ukrainian leader in the talks.”

It’s pretty easy to spot globalists today. They’re either LGBT or pro-war interventionists

Sounds like another pig on the USAID / MIC teat. Do we have data on his personal/family wealth profile? Who does his wife work for?
To: ChicagoConservative27
Russia is already devastated. They are not a military power anymore. Yeah they have a lot of old nukes but their military sucks. They aren’t a threat to anybody except Ukraine.

Bacon is a “bipartisan neocon” who would support globalists over America First Trump… every time.

The only reason to vote for Bacon was to keep Jim Jordan, Clay Higgens, Barry Louderbach, and James Comer in their positions heading up investigative committees.
Seems weird to me that an ex-military guy wouldn’t understand that if you’re going to be a mediator to negotiate peace you have to prove you’re neutral enough to bring both sides to the table. This isn’t rocket science. Why do these blowhards do everything they can to push for more war rather than push both sides to pursue peace?

Following the 2019 Midwest floods, which devasted Offutt Air Force Base and Camp Ashland, Don quickly organized the effort in the House to secure more than $1.6 billion in emergency federal funding to clean up, rebuild, and modernize both installations, which are critical to our national defense and Nebraska’s economy.

Bacon said, “That’s a terrible mistake not to have the Ukrainian leader in the talks.” He continued, “Ukraine is our ally. They want to be part of the West. Russia is our adversary. And it’s time that this administration gets this in their brain. They’re treating Putin with velvet gloves and they’re being harsh to our allies. Now, I got to tell you, I’m hearing from all over the world, but particularly lots of Republicans in Omaha who do not like what they see.”
