Mark Cuban warned the federal government's abrupt and deep cuts are having spillover effects across the economy, eventually leading to a downturn. The latest jobs report showed solid gains, but it pointed to early effects of DOGE cuts and didn't capture the wave of layoffs that have come more recently. Meanwhile, Wall Street is pricing in greater odds of a recession.

The Left bewailed the tax cuts and cuts in gov't that caused the recession, but those who actually understood the economy knew that the recession was like an alcoholic coming off his alcoholic addiction under which he was a slave.
Likewise, after significant cuts in unconstitutional gov't, there is a (relatively short) time of suffering recession, but afterwards, the economy is free from the addiction under which it was a slave.
Yes, I believe a recession is coming, but be of good cheer because after the recession, a great economic boon is coming because less gov't creates MORE prosperity. Right now we are slaves to a greatly unconstitutional federal gov’t. The MORE unconstitutional gov't is CUT, the MORE individual freedom and prosperity the American People will experience.
Cutting anti-productive federal employees will harm exactly only those employees. Everyone else is a winner!
Like NPR, Newsweak, NYT, that midget commie economist, when I hear “Mark Cuban” take it with a grain of salt. He’s a lucky idiot.
I sense the smell of Cuban’s Trump-envy wafting through the air yet again.
Cuban knows what the alternative is but he isn’t an honest person and won’t go there. Corruption, lawfare, political corruption, rigged elections, 40 trillion in debt, depression, civil unrest. FOAD toady.
He won the lottery and thinks he has a voice at the big boy table? He overestimates his value.
So Marky, what the hell are we supposed to do. Start printing more worthless money every time some stinkin’ billionaire hollers “recession”?
I would rather have a recession than run away inflation.
Making major cuts in government may cause a recession but it will spark a strong growth period to follow.
Year after year of Trillion dollar deficients will lead to triple digit inflation.
The bloat of the Federal government must end, either by design or by revolution.
There is no doubt that large cuts in government will cause some short term hardships.
When a junkie comes down off heroin it sucks as well.
or democrats stealing taxpayer money
Cutting a mountain of foreign “aid” won’t impact our economy one iota. But I suppose certain Democrats might have to cut back on their own spending.
Since perhaps 80% of the “workers” paid off are black females, perhaps it would be a good investment to retry Liberia as a place for them to settle, as Monroe, Lincoln and even J.Q. Adamsn advocated. I would check off $1 on my tax return to pay for New Liberia.
Mark Cuban is still having a sad because his donkey friend Kamala Harris did not win the presidency in 2024.
Cheer up, Mark! Kamala might run for governor of California in 2026. You can pour millions into the race to help her!
Then you can sit back and watch her destroy what’s left of that once-great state. Oh, and one more thing, Mark. If Harris does win, please move all your operations to California. You’ll love the taxes and incompetency there.
Actually, I see a recession to be necessary because it'll help us to crush inflation due to Bidenomics.
Inflation is a hidden tax on the American People that deteriorate our purchasing power.
Instead of the common acronym of ‘MSM’ we all know and use, we now have the ‘MSI’ or ‘main stream idiot.’
We've followed that blueprint for decades now.
Mark Cuban is afraid to spend his own money instead all that cash from USAID
Captain Obvious sez: Markl Cuban is an anti-MAGA, anti-Trumper, pro-kamala tool, so one can expect him to say nothing positive about a Trump Presidency ...
Absolutely correct. Our whole economy is built upon government growth and government spending. The politicians have been juicing the economy with printed dollars and growing public sector jobs to cover up all the US manufacturing being shipped overseas the last 30 years.
has mark cuban ever been right about anything??
