View comments Fox News star Kat Timpf revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer just hours before giving birth to her first child.
The 36-year-old remained on the air well into her third trimester, and recently shared some of the most sickening comments she's received from viewers about her baby bump.
Timpf announced she delivered her son last week in a shocking Instagram post on Tuesday.
'Last week, I welcomed by first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer,' she said.
'My doctors say it's stage zero and is confident that it almost certainly hasn't spread.'
She recounted the hectic day that led up to her diagnosis and how she used humor to cope with the news.
'I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out,' she said.
'By the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cancer out.
'I asked all the questions I could, including if I could get a copy of my tumor ultrasound to put on the fridge next to the ultrasound of my baby.'
Timpf - who wed 38-year-old Army vet Cameron Friscia in 2021 - also revealed the gender of her child.
'Finally, by the middle of the night, I was crawling around the floor of my apartment in spontaneous labor, before heading to the hospital to meet my baby, whom I'd learn at the time of birth was a son.'

I wish her well.
She’s had some funky medical problems in the past.
Prayers up!
WOW thats crazy to find out you have breast cancer and have your baby at the same time. I knew pretty much she was having a son, the way she looked in front looked like a boy..but damn, to find out you have breast cancer too, yes its stage zero but wondering what kind of treatment she will need..prayers for Kat she is an amazing lady I love watching her on Gutfeld
bttt
Congrats on her baby. Prayers for both and that the cancer was caught early and good health will follow.
I know she will beat this. There are so many cures for breast cancer these days and since she found it early I’m sure they will get this.
We’re praying for you Kat.
Kayleigh McAneny had similar breast cancer I believe and she recovered..unfortunately what Kat has is not uncommon..some women while pregnant find out they have ovarian cancer
They caught it in initial stage by the sounds of it.
Very, very good.
Prayers up for Kat. As the husband of a cancer conqueror, I know how that initial diagnosis hits like a punch to the heart. Be strong and courageous, Kat! You are loved by millions!
Have sent a prayer. Talk about a stressful day!
Fasting kills cancer like no other.
I have such respect for her. So sorry she has to worry about this while caring for a newborn. There will be a lot of support going her way.
As a cancer survivor, my hope and prayer is for her full recovery.
My wife had Stage 0 back in 2014. They just did a in-patient lumpectomy to take it out. No chemo, no radiation.
Just tamoxiflen and anestrozole for 5 years. 10 years later she’s fine.
Bittersweet time for Kat, prayers up. This happened to my dear friend years ago, diagnosed with breast cancer in the hospital. Only difference………she went into labor, took off for hospital and baby delivered by a highway patrolman in the bed if her husbands pickup. Was many years ago, she is fine today.
I don’t know much about her, since I rarely watch Fox programs any more, but I congratulate Kat and husband Cameron on the birth of their Baby. That said, she seems to be compelled to immediately tell everything about herself medically, online to the open public, including this diagnosis of cancer. To me, that seems like something that should be shared within the family, or the household, but it’s her health and her life. A lot of people seem to care about her.
I always follow news/threads on breast cancer.
My wife, literally the girl-next-door, lost a battle to breast cancer decades ago at 28 and I suddenly became Mr Mom to my girls, 4 and 1.
Certainly, I’d like to think treatments have improved including using alternatives Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, etc.
I believe she found out genetically she was very high risk for breast cancer and had both surgically removed. She since has had a second child.
May she have a quick and complete recovery, including the peace of mind needed to carry on a normal life with her husband and new son.
