"I will not do that in a way that violates the integrity or the privacy of my work."
The privacy of her PUBLIC work.
Ya see, the PEOPLE (the infernal rabble) ARE NOT to know what they do.

What exactly is your job, Miss?
To: cotton1706
She was probably up in Montana and Wyoming harassing the buffalo.

When I worked for the Feds I could tell you exactly what I was doing.
Though you’d quickly get bored with the subject.

“What exactly is your job, Miss?”
She MUST get back to documenting the cow manure production for central Iowa!

Yeah, I have NO privacy when it comes to what I do during my works hours.
If a Managing Director wants to know...he/she will know.
And yeah, #### em. They are hoping for some court or law to save them.
There is none that will last past a few weeks or so.
They can postpone with a liberal judge, but it is just delaying the inevitable.

This counts as a hostile response that should put the employee on a termination list.
It does make things pretty clear that this person is not a "ghost employee". Too bad she is declaring a clear refusal to comply with executive direction.
I can sympathize with her attitude, but she must go. The honorable thing to do was resign. She should have taken the first package.

In the private sector you keep track of what you did so you can bill accordingly. Get use to it because it will be your future soon when you get fired.
If you cannot bill correctly your company can go bankrupt. Oh yeah kind of like what will happen to the government if we don’t control the unproductive element.

I have a private sector job. I work sometimes from home, sometimes in the field. My boss lives 500 miles a way in Philadelphia. As part of my job, I am required to submit a weekly recap of what I did the previous week. It’s part of my job. Would I rather not do it? Maybe. But I also like to cash my paycheck.
