Feb 24 (Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy told his country's people on Monday that he was proud of their 'absolute heroism' in fighting and living in the war that Russia started with its full-scale invasion exactly three years ago.
"Three years of resistance. Three years of gratitude. Three years of absolute heroism of Ukrainians. I am proud of Ukraine!" Zelenskiy said in a post with a video showing the life of ordinary Ukrainians on the frontlines and in daily activities during the war.

Russian supporters are now upset that Ukraine did not meekly surrender and that they instead decided to try and keep their country.

3 years of Grifting.
I totally support Ukraine’s efforts to repel the Russian invasion. I can’t say I support Zelensky though.
From the outset of this war I have wondered:
1. Who is the good guy and who is the bad guy? Whose side are we supposed to be on?
2. People continually criticize so called Zeepers here on Free Republic. I’ve never figured out what exactly that’s supposed to mean.
He's really got something to be so very proud of. He's manged to get over a million of his citizens killed or wounded on the battlefield, destroyed great parts of his country and caused 20 million of his citizens to get the hell out of his country.
Now, that's sure something to really be proud of.
And, both before and after the invasion, he had the chance to negotiate an end to the carnage, but he let others, with their own special interest, dictate his direction.
Smart! Real smart!
Oh, need I mention conning the world out of half-trillion dollars to squander and steal?
He did all of this when, for over 10 years, he was told that if he joined NATO, it would mean war. You know, like we did in 62 when we invaded and blockaded the tiny nation of Cuba and almost annihilated one another for exactly the same reason -- our adversary expanding up to our border.
It's not hard to understand -- even President Trump understands.
Now that there is really something to be so very proud of!

Well, over a million Ukrainians have been killed or have been seriously injured in this war so Zelensky should be proud on them
Wish they could have sacrificed for a better cause and a better leader
