She obtained the certification to fly bigger planes on 9th January and already in February she crashed the passenger jet.
NOTE: “HOLDER DOES NOT MEET THE PILOT-IN-COMMAND AERONAUTICAL EXPERIENCE”
Swanson had only 250 hours of flight time, prompting questions about hiring practices.
PS: Previously you needed 1000 hours.
The airline is committed to destroy the patriarchy and hence preferentially hire women.

Dear heavens...
Now we know why it took so long. Affirmative Action Uber Alles.
Well,I guess that she can take solace in the fact that any landing you can walk away from is a good one.
Folks…I’d like you to meet your pilot…Fresh from her college sorority and nickel beer night at the local college hang out to piloting your Delta passenger plane! We call her little Miss Giggles!!
Trumps fault!
I didn’t total my first car until I had been driving for about 55 years.
How many male pilots are flying with only 250 hours experience?
So who is her commander that authorized her taking this flight?
She was First Officer, not the Pilot-in-Command. I get that we want to hate on the female pilots, but this is normal. The First Officer gets additional experience and training under the supervision of the Pilot-in-Command. Everything falls on the responsibility of the Pilot-in-Command no matter what happens, ask me how I know.
If we want to talk about raising the minimum qualifications of any pilot, I can get onboard with that. If females don’t have to meet the same standard as men, I’m all for changing that. If standards across the board were lowered to let more women qualify, then I’m onboard with changing that.
However, there ARE women that are qualified to do these types of jobs. Jumping to conclusions that since she is a female and she is the result of DEI makes us look stupid and loses any goodwill we would have in our position.
She is either qualified or not. Her sex has nothing to do with it. I say this as an AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot that learned most of my grit from a ruthless, cut-throat female pilot-in-command who led me through killing countless Taliban.
Does the FAA issue a “certification to fly bigger planes” credential?
Is this the beauty contestant winner?
Good gawd!
The airline and the authorities still won't release a statement as to who was flying the plane.
Who was flying the plane?
My thoughts exactly.
I would think that landing in those weather conditions would have been a challenge for even a seasoned experienced pilot. Why would the airline assign that flight to someone with so little experience and flight-time? The only answer available is DEI hiring.
DEI is a recipe for getting people killed.
If the story is not true lets see somebody from Delta speaking up—otherwise their silence is confirmation the story is true.
Very nice response, I appreciate you sharing your experience.
Stylish!
