Approximately 1,000 agents from the Bureau's Washington, D.C. headquarters will be moved to field offices nationwide, and 500 will go to Huntsville, Alabama.

Today is only his first day in office, and he's already at it. This was something Kash promised, by the way.

Huge, multi billion dollar FBI building built in Huntsville, AL recently. Its on Ft. Rucker Army Base across from Army Missile Command. Look it up on google maps. This is a great idea as the swamp dwelling admin types DO . NOT. WANT. to move out of the DC belt way where all the slush funds are.

If there are 11,000 FBI agents in DC, he will be moving more out of there soon.

Major growth in Huntsville took place in the decades following World War II. During the war, the U.S Army established Redstone Arsenal in the vicinity, with a chemical weapons plant and related facilities. After the war, additional research was conducted at Redstone Arsenal on rockets, followed by adaptations for space exploration. NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, the United States Army Aviation and Missile Command, and most recently the FBI’s operational support headquarters, all were sited at Redstone Arsenal.

“””If there are 11,000 FBI agents in DC, he will be moving more out of there soon.””

Leave a few hundred in DC to take care of parking tickets and jaywalkers and make the rest spread out and earn their keep.

Yep, I’m thinking FBI Southwest Headquarters, McAllen, Texas has a nice ring to it.

This is something I've heard Patel speak about and it seems like a good idea. Get the hordes of FBI agents out of DC and out into the rest of the nation to solve crimes, instead of sitting in DC conspiring against the elected leadership.

He is simply undoing what Mueller did when he centralized the FBI to make it more like the KGB.

Isolate them in one of the deepest RED states. My guess is over 50% will decline and thus self-terminate.

I would make sure ANYONE with any reporting line to COMEY or McCabe would be REMOTED elsewhere and given an extremely limited assignment.
