President Donald Trump signed an executive order on January 20 mandating the housing of transgender women in men’s prisons and halting federal funding for gender-affirming care. A federal judge has since blocked the transfer of transgender inmate “Maria Moe” to a men’s prison and the denial of Moe’s care. The lawsuit challenges Trump’s order and prevents the transfer.
The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) reclassified Moe from “female” to “male” and planned to transfer her to a men’s facility, threatening Moe’s access to hormone therapy.
U.S. District Judge George O’Toole issued a temporary restraining order on January 26, preventing Moe’s transfer and ensuring continued medical care. The restraining order will remain in place while the court considers a preliminary injunction.
The lawsuit alleges violations of Moe’s Fifth Amendment rights to due process and Eighth Amendment protections against cruel and unusual punishment. Moe’s attorney’s argued the transfer would expose Moe to harassment and violence.
Attorneys stated that Moe “is at imminent risk of losing access to the medical care she needs to treat her gender dysphoria.”
The lawsuit stated, “She may be forced to shower in full view of men who are incarcerated. And she will predictably experience worsening gender dysphoria.”

I cannot even begin to imagine the trauma hundreds of women - many probably sexual assault or rape victims - who will have to endure this sicko with his penis out in a room where the women are all naked.
Where are their rights.

U.S. District Judge George O’Toole needs to be impeached, convicted, removed, disbarred, and then prosecuted for giving aid and comfort to the domestic enemies of the United States.
Don’t know how a judge can say that’s unusual punishment when it’s been the norm for the 250years of our country’s existance.
Why can this ruling NOT be used for biological men showering in women’s facilities?
Isn’t it essentially the same argement?

All those with weenies need to be isolated in an entirely separate section of the prison. No mixing whatsoever with the actual females anywhere. It might decrease the number of freaks overall if any of them are pretending simply to have a pool of women to rape — easy pickin’s.
“She” can piss up a rope. The whole point of this article is an attempt to justify gender insanity. The article is dripping with pronouns, and the misused term gender affirming care, or even healthcare. The writer should be ashamed.

They’re going through a lot of effort to conceal the inmate’s offenses from the case and the public. I wonder why that is.
The Judge cannot be removed from office as there are not enough votes in the Senate.

I’d like to believe common sense will prevail, but I won’t believe it until I see it.
The judge just decreed that castration is not cruel and unusual punishment. Now we can “treat” sexual predators properly to alleviate their mental illness. I hope a case like that lands in this judge’s court.
