A self-professed serial killer who called himself the “Michael Meyers” of Tennessee was just given 159 years for three slayings — on top of his 102-year sentence for killing his pregnant girlfriend and her unborn child, authorities said.
Joshua Dotson, 24, pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon after the new killings, according to Shelby County Prosecutors. Dotson shot and killed Reginald Anderson and Renita Bennett near a Memphis park in May 2020, WREG reported. He also fatally shot Divieon Parker, 18, in a store parking lot in November 2019, according to the Memphis Police Department. The new convictions come less than a year after Dotson was convicted of the June 2020 killing of his then-girlfriend Jamesha Covson, 19, and her unborn child — for which he was given two 51-year sentences. Dotson shot through Covson’s door and then gunned her down while she was several months pregnant, according to investigators.

In Memphis the prosecutors normally let killers go and give them a cookie as they leave custody.

With a nickname like that eventually someone in prison will want to make themselves famous and pretend they are Dr Loomis

It should happen with greater frequency. Saves a boatload of Taxpayer dollars keeping these POSs housed and fed.

I think killing a pregnant girlfriend isn’t going to get much street cred in the Pen. He might get shived soon and often and not be around long. (one can hope)
So taxpayers now have the financial burden of supporting this animal for the remainder of his life. That’s how justice in a broken society works today.

This man should be dead. To allow him to live makes the State an accessory to the crime. The judge etc. is telling like minded people, “Go ahead! You can murder 5 people here and still live to gloat about it! The State of Tennessee has murdered these victims all over again. Who ever did this should be his cell mate for 250 years.
