I'm reminded of when Allende took over in Chile and paid General Tire $1 for all its investments in Chile. About five years later, as the tire equipment started wearing out, they tried to secure replacement parts through third parties from Akron, OH, foundries and equipment manufacturers. Those companies knew what was going on and refused to sell them parts, and the factories closed and unemployment resulted. Multiply this by the other factories that were confiscated and it becomes a death spiral. Eventually, Allende was assassinated by disgruntled workers.

It's the same in South Africa. They are kicking out the Whites who have run the factories, farms, and other businesses in SA for years and replaced them with bureaucrats who know nothing about running a business and are probably skimming from the companies to boot. Yet another Socialists Death Spiral.
