Speaker Johnson: Elon ‘Cracked the Code’ to Beat Deep State
Townhall ^ | Jeremy Frankel

According to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La), Elon Musk has figured out how to break the deep state by using the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

In an interview with Mark Levin on Fox News’ “Life Liberty and Levin,” Johnson said that he met with Musk for an hour last week at his office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. He added that Musk was working out of the old Secretary of War Suite.

...

Musk is also helping Congress perform its constitutional duties by using transparency to keep the Executive Branch in check, saying that “the oversight job has been hindered because the deep state and the bureaucracy has not turned over the data. They wouldn’t give us the information we were seeking. We didn’t know all this because it was hidden.”

“Now Elon has cracked the code. He is on the inside of the belly of the beast, Mark. And he is unveiling and revealing all these things that we knew intuitively were happening, but we didn’t have the evidence,” Johnson continued.

“This is a game changer. It is truly revolutionary, and we’re going to restore ultimately through this process the federal government to the original intent of the Founders,” Johnson said, adding “And that’s what has the the Big Government socialist liberals and Democrat Party apoplectic because they’re afraid of what the final result of this is going to be and it’s very exciting for the people.”

It’s truly a miracle how this country is being saved. A real estate developer from NYC and an entrepreneur from South Africa, who could come up with this? Never in a million years. Just think where we would have been by now - 8 years of Satans daughter Hillary Clinton as POTUS, possibly 8 years of the joker Tim Kaine as POTUS - if we even had a country left after Hillary.

interesting that the Deep State was pretty much really all about stealing money ... i guess that makes sense when you think about it ... raw power itself might be satisfying on an emotional level, but doesn’t buy a big house, fast car, or prime beef ...

my hope is that President Trump’s true legacy of reform will be to next task DOGE to implement and install a modern, transparent accounting system throughout the FedGov that automatically detects and prevents the obvious theft that has been occurring for centuries on a massive scale ..

Musk is doing what congressional oversight committees are supposed to do so there’s more proof they don’t have a clue what they’re doing.

Passing these massive omnibus bills is what funds this shxt.

Unless we accept that the Founders were elitists determined to completely subvert the states to federal control, the Founders would be aghast at the present size of government and how it works. We’ve opened Pandora’s Box and the genie is not going back into the bottle any time soon. We will get some accountability and shrink of the Administrative State, but Congressional inaction is the best explanation for the present state of affairs. Too many Congresscritters were corrupted, and that’s why that dog didn’t bark.

Congress has become an ineffective branch. No Regular Order, few appropriation bills - just Continuing Resolutions and omnibus spending plans, incompetent oversight (except Representative Comer and his Committee work - Jim Jordan is a paper tiger).

Congress has ceded away its authority and oversight over 50 years, while passing dubious laws (Independent Counsels, etc) and then wonders why they are looked at with laughter.

The Founders envisioned and wrote the Constitution that featured a strong legislature.

Equally miraculous is Johnson’s newfound fondness of fiscal transparency in his 8th year in office.

“It’s truly a miracle how this country is being saved.”

Well, at least information is being exposed. Whether the corrupt judicial system will permit the country to be “saved” is another story. Here’s hoping.

The guy built a real estate empire while the 5 Italian crime families were still very powerful.

He didn’t do anything illegal but he had to deal with them at some level, even if it was with their legal reps in the field...read “bought positions”

The same thing that makes many NYers not so loveable to outsiders is many of us don’t give a #### what other think of us and we’ll say and do what’s on our minds.

The world’s a hard place...the city is an even harder one.

You get tough or you fall and fail.

We don’t have time for George Will’s “gentleman loser” politics.

We dont have time for “we’re better than that”

#### that. We’ll be “better than that” after we fix the mess.

Until then, if one must fight dirty, then so be it.

I’m not saying Trump is...he’s a good man...but if he is fighting dirty here and there...i dont mind nor do I care”

The end goal of these people was to have us enslaved OR DEAD.

Being a good sport is kinda worthless once that happens.

Just like the Brits hated that our soldiers in the Revolution would hit and run sometimes...saying it was “cowardly”, maybe Trump and Elon are bending the rules here and there.

If they are, good.

Partially disagree, we will get some shrinkage of the Administrative state and actual congressional oversight for at lest the next two years. I expect that the same dynamics that brought us to this point will kick in by then and in another generation or so we will need this same exercise again. It is easy when on the outside to rail about waste, fraud and abuse. Once in congress actually doing something about it requires both oversight and the ability to muster a majority to actually do something about it. Remember all of the waste, fraud, and abuse is someone’s paycheck and they are likely politically connected.

Musk and company are shining a light on the fact that anti-fraud measures were either not used or were much weaker than expected. Waste and abuse, with a Republican House and Senate, now that is highlighted may actually get a hair cut as most of it benefited Democrats and their pet causes.

It is very comfortable to rail against waste, fraud and abuse in the budget, but it is a very different thing to actually do something about it as that will make you enemies. You work a lot less and get fewer death threats when you do not threaten someone else’s rice bowl.

I like how JD Vance told the Euros "Not another dollar of US taxpayer money if you think you're going to spend it appeasing your Muslim hordes". Wish he'd come to Florida and say the same thing to the state legislature here. "Not one more dollar of fed money if you think you're going to coddle your illegal alien population, trash the US residents, suck up to left wing thug labor unions, and look the other way to appease big ag and big construction, and all the roofing contractors", all of whom are horribly addicted to cheap cheap labor, and respond to eVerify like Dracula responds to garlic.

I can dream, right....

REMINDER: It was Johnson who put the original GOPe spending CR on the house floor loaded with bloated pork to fund this fraudulent criminal enterprise, dozens of nefarious expenditures which continued this the fraud scheme. Fortunately there were enough conservative congress members to force Johnson to pull that heinous bill. Know your enemy, it is congress which voters elected.

It is our fault ultimately.
