Alarmists are crying to heaven for vengeance after President Trump slashed taxpayer funding of climate change research.
The comically named Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) passed by Democrats in 2022 “directs hundreds of billions of dollars worth of investments to climate and environmental justice projects,” notes Grist, a green advocacy publication, and activists fear that the river of free money may dry up under Trump.
“What it looks like to me is an absolute full-on brakes moment for any further climate advances at least in the short term,” said Gabriel Filippelli, the executive director of the Environmental Resilience Institute at Indiana University, whose $5 million federal grant has been suspended.

My climate change story.....In 2006 I was in the audience for the graduating class at Tulane University in New Orleans. Bill Clinton and Bush Sr were the speakers. Bush gave an interesting speech about things he had done and seen. Clinton started by saying Hurricane Katrina was caused by global warming that started that decade which means it didn’t exist when he was President. He said we would now see constant massive hurricanes because of it. His sycophants in the audience went nuts and cheered for him like he was a rock star. I stayed seated and farted in his direction.

The flow of funding, or the lack of such funding, has no impact whatsoever on the actual mechanics of weather or climate. But it has a HUGE impact on the parasites that have come into existence since all the whole “weather control” schemes have been “developed” with the aid of a number of unsupported assumptions and some very bad mathematics wrongly applied in the name of “science”.
And one of the very worst assumptions was that carbon dioxide is a “pollutant” that must be controlled and eliminated at all costs. CO2 is plant food, and plants are practically at starvation levels now.
Why is this totally unscientific assumption even allowed to stand? Water vapor has a vastly greater impact on weather and climate than carbon dioxide ever could, even if the concentration of CO2 was a hundred times the current level.
Still need research on “settled” science. They should have a clock ticking off the days and hours we have left. They should be moving to the mountains to avoid the overflowing seas. Bloomington, Indiana is about 770 feet in elevation. They may be saved after all...
“Make work grift”
Carbon dioxide is needed in the blood to be part of the chemical reaction to DEtoxify the ammonia our bodies make from metabolized proteins. Part of the UREA CYCLE. Otherwise, the accumulated Ammonia would kill us.
