U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday said his administration was examining U.S. Treasury debt payments for possible fraud and suggested that the country's $36 trillion debt load might not be that high. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said administration officials who have been combing through payment records in an effort to identify wasteful spending have turned their attention to the debt payments that play a central role in the global financial system.

In short we might be able to overcome the evil the deep state has done... easier than originally thought. On time and under budget...

Exactly, he knows it was presented that high as a cover to all the graft and misappropriations in support of the global elite mechanisms.

We are finding out America has been funding all these leftist elite revolutions, literally has become the fraud and corruption of centuries.

People really do need to face the ultimate punishment for such large scale crimes against humanity.

Yes, most know that even if the fraud is eliminated the mother load is in the Pentagon and in entitlements spending. Those are the big battles.

It will continue to be slowed by complicit planted/owned Judges in D.C.

The guy who has been writing about this weirdness for years is Joseph P. Farrell.

His claims are hard to believe—but he is a brilliant historian and he may be correct.

Capital punishment is too good for them. They should have to be made to live with Hillary in her cell.

Oh, we have the debt alright. That hay is in the barn. We might just have less of an obligation to spend, and therefore incur further debt, after DOGE gets thru with their audits.

I’ll be interested to see what this means. If its true that the DOT screwed up how much we are paying on debt, it will be shocking even to me. It will mean that the government REALLY doesn’t know what it is doing at a fundamental level.

Yep. It’s nibbling at the edges.

But it still represents a lot of money. I’m grateful for anything that can be done to lessen our declining financial position.

Trump and Musk are digging into stuff that has never been dug into. The level of mismanagement and corruption is stunning.

I think you are mostly correct.

I will say however, based on info that I have heard about another profligate regime named Canaduh, it is quite possible that there remains SOME funds in ‘escrow’ type accounts, that were waiting for the recipient organization to perform some action before the money was released. Said funds could appear as ‘debt’, though not yet released. These funds likely won’t be a lot but, should reduce the ‘debt’ somewhat.

Which is totally disgusting. I remember back in my young adulthood having respect for senators and representatives and I somehow thought they were a cut above and what I’ve learned is about half of them are two cuts below.
Intellectually I could run circles around them and I’m no Einstein. They are there to serve but they’ve turned it into serving themselves in their bank accounts they could give a rats rear end about Americans.

Yes. As far as spent monies that aren’t backed by tax receipts. It logically follows.

Another poster responded that some of the appropriated spending may me unspent in various accounts. That money would be unspent and *might* be subject to Recission. Those monies would go back to the Treasury and be applied to debt reduction for the current spending year. But the National Debt is a far larger number.

The budget for the pentagon is very high. So are the budgets for Medicare and medicaid and welfare, etc. But the biggest amount of spending is on servicing the national debt, which is way over a trillion and going up by the minute. Paying off the debt should be a priority. About half the annual budget would go towards paying the national debt, if nothing is done to bring it down and prevent it from ever going up again.

DOJ ought to work with the courts to create a fast lane for court cases involving lower court rulings intended to slow or stop the Executive Branch. The business of the whole nation should not be brought to a crawl by judges who see this as their moment to stick Orange Man.

Zip these cases to the top in a week, not a year.
