Take away the cash that supports waste and fraud and the agencies and crooked politicians will scream in protest.
Stopping the funding makes it easier to shut down the swamp.

Well, that answers the question I’ve had, i.e., “How did he know to go there first?”
They tipped off DOGE themselves. If they’d just have done what they were told, they could have stayed under the radar. They narced themselves.

Doge needs to search the treasury database for every payment going to Google, and shut them all off.
The best part about cutting funding to a bunch of media organizations, and NGO‘s is not merely the loss of those funds, but the high likelihood that those organizations have all borrowed money based on that stream of cash flows from the government. No stream of cash flows, and the loans are going to get called in and lines of credit shut down. This has a very beneficial reverse multiplier effect.

It would seem over the past few years along with Google’s current behavior they are setting themselves up for an antitrust trial.
