The question shouldn’t be “Why did Trump impose these tariffs?” but rather, “Why won’t Canada enhance border security and target drug cartels operating within their borders?”

If they really don’t want to escalate a trade war, they can end it by taking decisive action, which they should be taking anyway, not for the sake of just U.S. citizens, but Canadian citizens as well.

So, why not do it?

Canada at its core hates being the North American country that gets overlooked because of the huge country to the south and west (and northeast, if we get Greenland).

I thought illegals leave their country in order to find a better life elsewhere. So, there they are in Canada, the land of free healthcare and free education and generous welfare checks. Why not just stay there?

Here’s my other question — Why did Canada allow them to enter? There’s no land border between the South American countries and Canada. They have to come in mostly by air.
