I find myself in complete disagreement with anything this site has to offer, but we shall see who is right & who is wrong.
Trump is using these tariffs to take Canada’s and Mexico’s socialist governments to the wood shed.
If you are a Canadian, do not elect such village idiots as these lefty socialist DAVOS woke liberals.
Get the message yet Canada?

I would be grateful to read your refutations of the points raised by the author
If I was on the fence over tariffs, which I’m not, National Review being against them would convince me we really need them. That rag is nothing but a bunch of leftist globalist creeps.
Swamp spin.
More blather from the pedophiles at NR.
L
It will make some things more expensive in the short term. No question. He needs to unshackle energy production to offset the price increases due to tariffs.
If I was a bit nervous about all this, NR’s editorial makes me feel better. When was the last time they got anything right?
The “girly boys” at National Review doing their “think tank” employment, are unhappy that their pro foreigner policies are going kaput.
“Tough Crap.”
The time of National Review being the gatekeepers of conservatism was a long time ago. They got rid of Pat Buchanan but history has shown that he was right and they wrong.
We would be grateful for you to tell us why the NRO never Trumpers are right
Some things never change.
Here's one good argument.
Here’s why they are all bark no bite. https://t.co/BRV1XJ6SFc pic.twitter.com/nOQMOyLBen— Alan Roberts (@TheMFingCOO) February 1, 2025
The obscure National Review still even exists? Who’d a thunk it.
Bump! And to the US too...
As of now, the S&P 500 futures are down about 100, or 1.7%
Let the energy flow and shut down the government restraints. America will be solid. Mexico and Canada can be great allies or continue to be weak and adversarial. China needs to be punched in the mouth.
Ahh yes the National Review to the defense of the status quo.
What the national review is missing is that tariffs, like taxes, aren’t always for revenue purposes, sometimes they are enacted to alter behavior.
Trump goal is not to tax, but to compel behavior
Bottom line, tariffs are charged on American goods throughout the World. Where is the National Review’s articles attacking them as folly. The establishment can’t get enough of America Last.
