‘We will find you, and we will deport you’: Donald Trump to pro-Palestine protesters in new executive order

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday aimed at combating antisemitism in the wake of Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. The Trump administration promised "immediate action" by the Justice Department to address what it described as "an explosion of antisemitism on campuses and streets" across the US.

The order threatens visa cancellations for international students involved in pro-Palestine activism on campuses.

Following this order, the US has reportedly revoked the visa of Liu Lijun, a Chinese student at UCLAwho was arrested in May 2024 for organising pro-Palestine rallies. Liu will likely be deported to China following the executive order which calls for a federal crackdown on campus antisemitism.

This case is one of the first instances of visa revocation under this new policy.

The executive order directs the federal Education, State, and Homeland Security departments to develop recommendations within two months to “monitor and report activities by alien students and staff”. The order requires agency and department leaders to provide the White House with recommendations within 60 days on all criminal and civil authorities that could be used to fight antisemitism, according to the fact sheet.

A fact sheet on the order read Trump’s statement, which is, "To all the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests, we put you on notice: come 2025, we will find you, and we will deport you. I will also quickly cancel the student visas of all Hamas sympathizers on college campuses, which have been infested with radicalism like never before," the US President added.

This is apparently the original source of the reported news that she has had her visa cancelled.

I doubt even the failed country of Somalia permits foreigners to openly protest the government that hosts them. It’s about time that we caught up.

By the way, just for the record, the US-Funded NGOs around the world operate ‘behind the scenes’ inside of countries that refuse to march in lock-step behind us on key issues (including war with Russia, Globohomo, dismantling reliable energy, etc).

The NGOs fund elements in these countries by supplying materials, strategy, and actually paying the protesters based on how much trouble they cause (with being killed the biggest payout, although that money goes to their families).

Anyway, the US funding of these NGOs should have stopped this week, based on Rubio cutting them off, but who knows, maybe other Western countries will step in.

“the US has reportedly revoked the visa of Liu Lijun, a Chinese student at UCLAwho was arrested in May 2024 for organising pro-Palestine rallies.”

I don’t think the courts will let that fly.

An act of intimidation or violence by the visa holder personally would probably need to be shown.

At the very least, our immigration laws should be on a reciprocity basis with whatever country a visitor comes from. And illegals don't have a country since they are undocumented, so off to Gitmo they go, out of an abundance of precaution.

And assume that whatever wealth they may have accumulated or have with them when they are arrested was obtained illegally, so it can be confiscated by the government and used to fund a victim fund for Americans who are harmed by illegals.

Not really. Visas are issued at the pleasure of the government.

There are so many universities in China that she should not have a problem continuing her education in a more suitable environment.

Liu Lijan can return to China and organize protest offensive to the Chinese government. Let's see how that goes over. LOL Then again, as a guest of our country we expect him NOT to sh*t on the carpet or try to burn down the house.

Also, “the courts” are all very American. This live idiots like this agitator. America’s “judge” herds need to be culled. Way too many extreme far left commies attack the American way of life.

They are - we can kick foreigners out for any reason, or no reason. Likewise the same is true for Americans overseas. Without that in place no one would be crossing borders (legally, at least).
