What an idiot. How many times did the new Press Secretary say “ individuals receiving assistance won’t be affected”?

Do Connecticut families really matter all tat much?

Connecticut is pretty much a lost cause economically. The state lacks the resources to actually be a state.

Need more state money? Start taxing Yale and take a few billion from their ridiculously large endowment.

Executive cannot redirect money that Congress appropriated
Executive can not spend money not appropriated by Congress
That’s the Constitution and clear from SCOTUS

Executive does not have to spend money Congress appropriated
Executive can suspend non critical spending in emergencies.
That’s clear from SCOTUS

What Joe Biden did was unconstitutional, what Trump is doing is within the powers granted him.

I’m sure Yale’s endowment can fund the entire state of Connecticut for a few years. Maybe the state should just go full Marxist and take it over.

Yale being so woke should take it upon themselves to sell their endowment using the resulting funds to help the poor villagers of their state. To not do so is obviously wrong, elitist, insensitive and immoral, sexist and racist.

He’s upset that grants to leftist NGOs will be affected, and maybe abolished.

If you dig deeply enough, the Left is mostly funded by government.

First, handouts are not in the Constitution.

Second, there’s this thing called the 36 Trillion Monster we need to talk about.

Third, this should be a state issue, not a Federal issue.

Spreading lies and fear mongering are all the left knows how to do.

The truth doesn’t matter.

Destroying Trump does.

Article III has nothing to do with presidential powers. It pertains only to judicial.

Even if they WERE granted the power to do so.. That wording doesn’t imply mandatory.

The wording would be more like “Shall give loans and grants.”
