It's a classic liberal-media tactic. Want to combat a conservative policy? Find individual instances that will play on the public's heartstrings.
In a segment today on Trump's executive order banning birthright citizenship, CNN This Morning provided a classic example of the strategy. Former Biden communications director Kate Bedingfield teed up the scenario: "I think Trump seems, uh, sometimes to be quite gleeful in pursuing policies that are, you know, hurting young children or hurting young families. You'll continue to see, I would imagine, more and more images of women with young children crying because they don't know what is going to happen to their kid."
Host Kasie Hunt was only too happy to make Thompson and Bedingfield's predictions come true. Quoting from an article in The Independent, a British newspaper, Hunt relayed the story of "Monica," a pregnant Venezuelan migrant who has been in the US for six years. According to The Independent, as a result of Trump's executive order, Monica "is stressed, anxious and 'depressed, facing a 'reality that my child might not be able to become a U.S. citizen.'”

The morons shouldn’t use the misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment to steal U.S. citizenship.
Are they worried about their health and need an abortion or are they worried about their health because it might hurt their baby. Which is it.

I don’t think their tactics are going to work this time. People have seen the horrors of an open border. Those horrors are felt in their neighborhoods, apartment buildings and schools.
Simple counterpoint - run ads and videos on prime slots (broadcast, cable, streaming, sites) with crying mothers of victims of illegal alien criminals, in multiple languages.
Does CNN not realize that hardly anybody watches them anymore and more importantly, do they realize why?
The Chinese spend $10,000 to $30,000 for their birthing vacations... It’s disgusting. Trump needs to shut this abomination down and keep it down.
These mothers need to make an effort to make their own countries free and NOT use their babies to gain backdoor citizenship.

i notice that the latest trend in fake news is to “imagine” fake news instead of actually fabricating fake news, as i’ve seen the fake news using this word more than once lately ...
apparently “imagining” fake news is a lot cheaper than actually fabricating fake news ... or perhaps that’s simply the best way to direct AI to generate fake news, e.g., “AI, IMAGINE that Trump is actually Hitler.” ...”
either way, all of that looks like just the latest desperate effort by the Democrat propaganda media to cut costs as they circle the drain ...

There is an entire industry dedicated to bringing expectant mothers here to give birth to “American citizens”. Somehow, the family gets to stay and raise the kid. If up to me, send them back where they came from. They have obtained citizenship by deception, and don’t deserve it.

Thing is, though, that the Republicans can simply buy ad time on the networks people are watching. And those would be online - even if the big three news media networks refuse to sell ad time, it won’t matter because nobody watches broadcast any more.
The thing is, they’re calling Trump all these names and accusing him of all these things. However, because we are his supporters, they will automatically assume that we are exactly like he is.
What I would like to know is what exactly are the consequences of them accusing US of all these things? Whether they understand it or not, the consequences are ABSOLUTE ZERO. They can call us every name in the book, but how will it actually affect us? It won’t. They seem to think we’ll lose jobs, social status, and be seen as pariahs and evil people in society. They don’t understand that it’s not going to happen.
