If Canadian regulations make any reference other than to men and women in this regards, then it is government’s business to clean that nonsense up.

Gender, like race, is subjective and can mean any dang thing anyone wants it to mean.
Normally I would agree, but government is forcing the good people of this country to “embrace it or else”.

Trudeau has resigned has head of the Liberal Party, but remains as Prime Minister. He is truly a "lame duck."
He requested Parliament be "prorogued" until March 24 (probably to allow the Liberal Party to choose a new leader), when Parliament will reconvene. It's likely very soon after a "vote of no confidence " will be held, at which point Trudeau will not be PM.
The Liberal government needs the backing of a majority of the 338 members of parliament in a no-confidence vote. Even with complete party Unity (unlikely), Liberals are 17 seats shy of that, meaning they require support from members of Canada's other parties. Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the NDP has already said he will not support the continuation of Liberal Party control of Parliament.
An election would need to be held "Immediately" after a failed vote of no confidence.
That possibility ended when the federal government under liberals not only recognized the mental illness of "sex change", but actively promoted it.
So now, back to NORMAL.

I have to disagree. Until Poilievre wrote that the Canadian Federal Government should not dictate male and female, Poilievre was like a Canadian Trump.
That is exactly what Trump is doing. The schools do not need to push their insane political nonsense.
He’s no Trump at all. He doesn’t want government involved... Trump is involved.. making it official that there are 2 sexes and gender is nonsense
Fine. But minding its own business will, of course, remove the use of taxpayer’s funds for this issue, including NIH “research” and other government grants, etc.
When a man puts on a dress and feels he should have special privileges BECAUSE HE WEARS A DRESS then yeah, it’s our business. THE country is going back to hiring on merit - NOT on sexual kink, skin color or ‘who your parents are. It’ time for everyone to take a deep breath and get real.
Maybe I misinterpreted his meaning when I read his comments but I understood him to mean that government should stay the hell out of mandating multiple genders and promoting their agendas and stick to the “2 gender” view.
It was a typical CTV gotcha question. Pierre handled it well. He turned it back on the punk by asking him to name a third gender. He couldn’t.
Typical politician-speak. Trump speaks plainly and this guy speaks gibberish to appease.
How was he appeasing? Pierre asked the woke interviewer if he could name another gender, and he could not.

Agreed, I don’t take this as a shot at Trump or his policies. Poilievre and Trump will work well together.
Proper identification is important when it comes to identifying people for purposes of legal documents/activities. How people view themselves is another thing and doesn’t require government intervention in a secular world. A man can called himself a woman and shouldn’t be jailed for that, but he also shouldn’t be able to force others to join in his deception/delusion.
Canada needs real leadership as it looks at 25% tariffs. Vowing threats like some are doing will not work. An adult is needed to have a conversation with Trump officials. Sadly parliament is prorogued when we most need leadership.
From what I understand Trump’s issues are with Canada exporting drugs into the US. Either this is untrue and a leader needs to make the case, or its true, and a leader needs to do something about it.
