Winning.
More winning.
Details?
Wow, action reports by the half hour, this first day is already like 2 years of changes.
Excellent.

“Fagan has demonstrated leadership deficiencies, operational failures and an inability to advance the strategic objectives of the Coast Guard.”
In other words, she’s a DEI.
She got more chest hardware than me. But, I might have done a better job. Or not. 😊👍
I think Trump is employing a blitzkrieg strategy to overwhelm the Dems and their media sock puppets. He’s doing so many things so fast they won’t know what to counter-attack.
They’ll pick something but they will have to let the rest go and with the public attention span being shorter than a gnat’s life ... well, oh well.
Sort of a reverse Cloward and Piven. He’s deconstructing the chaos by overwhelming their propaganda machinery.
Good analogy.
I was noticing the same thing. The news cycle can’t spray lies about everything so they will pick the most stupid “popular” issues to report on, and those will be the same issues that made Trump win in a landslide. He’s boxing them in already.
One down, lots more to go!
Maga AM Bump! ;-)
The TSA head that put Tulsi Gabbard on the watch list has been fired..
Thank you, both.
They will look even more idiotic than usual if they try to address everything. And they probably will until they realize that they’re not all on the same narrative like usual. And, yes, they will pick something stupid and go way overboard on it.
Just a guess, but I think Trump will keep this pace up as long as he can. They will have to break away from whatever they decide to harp on to try to fight his nominee’s confirmations. Which they will lose and in the meantime lose all momentum on these subjects.
Retention of high quality personnel is critical to the military. Too many people with critical skills must have opted out rather than re-enlist I’m guessing.
That’s excellent!
Has he told “Admiral” Levine to weigh anchor and head for the nearest Naval mental facility?
Participation awards.
From the article:
“Fagan has demonstrated leadership deficiencies, operational failures and an inability to advance the strategic objectives of the Coast Guard.
These include the failure to address border security threats, insufficient leadership in recruitment and retention, mismanagement in acquiring key acquisitions such as icebreakers and helicopters, excessive focus on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and an “erosion of trust” over the mishandling and cover-up of Operation Fouled Anchor, which was the Coast Guard’s internal investigation into sexual assault cases at the Coast Guard Academy. . .
In Operation Fouled Anchor, the cover-up of sexual assaults at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy “deeply eroded trust” in the Coast Guard among the American public, the U.S. Congress and the military. The Coast Guard did not disclose the existence of Operation Fouled Anchor until 2023, despite its existence from 2014 to 2019. . .”

In December 2023, House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs Chairman Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.) opened a probe into the USCG’s mishandling of serious misconduct, including racism, hazing, discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and rape, and the withholding of internal investigations into these offenses from Congress and the public. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and USCG have obstructed the investigation and have not provided fulsome Reponses and documents pursuant to the committee’s request. This lack of compliance led the Committee to seek information from additional sources, including a score of whistleblowers and several former USCG senior leaders. In the course of the investigation, the Committee conducted transcribed interviews with several former senior leaders of the USCG.

The Coast Guard did not disclose the existence of Operation Fouled Anchor until 2023, after it was reported by CNN. The probe was in existence from 2006 to 2020.
In addition, Senator Richard Blumenthal, the panel’s chairman, pointed out that nearly 40 whistleblowers have come forward, to say that the sexual harassment and coverup are ongoing.
“Our investigation has shown a deep moral rot within the Coast Guard now,” said Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), chairman of the committee. “One that prioritizes cronyism over accountability, silence over survivors.”. . .
The former leader of the US Coast Guard who withheld from Congress the explosive findings of an investigation that documented years of sexual assaults at the agency’s prestigious academy said he did so because he worried lawmakers wouldn’t protect the privacy of the victims.
“I made my decision, and I stand by that,” former Commandant Karl Schultz said in an exclusive interview with CNN. “There are people who feel wronged by that, and I truly in my heart feel terrible about that. But I don’t think that changes my calculus.”
Schultz, who has become a lightning rod for criticism over his handling of the matter, disputed that he was trying to cover up the investigation known as “Operation Fouled Anchor.”. . .

Which lawmakers was he worried about, Senator Blumenthal?
