Emily Damari could not stop smiling as she was reunited with her mother on Sunday following 15 months in the clutches of Hamas.
But, as she waved to family in a video call, the scars of her horror were immediately visible.
Damari, 28, a British-Israeli citizen, wore a bandage on her left hand where two fingers that blown off in the brutal Oct. 7, 2023 terror attack in which terrorists took her hostage.
Damari is one of the three Israeli hostages freed on Sunday — the first of 33 who are due to be released over the next 42 days.

I cant imagine what these three women went through, used as sex slaves for 14 months, just the horror, and seeing Hamas celebrate its like nothing has changed, Gaza is still full of roaches
Why is her hand bandaged now? She was wounded over a year ago, what she must have gone through and the pain she must have suffered. Did they only decide to treat her hand when it was decided she would be released?

What is the reason for the time lapse between releases? Is this due to the overall health issues caused by the violence of the captivity? Are the individuals being released those who cooperated with the captors? Lots of questions.

Hamas wants the cease-fire to last as long as possible, so that they will have time to move the "civilians" and regroup their forces, and given that they only agreed to the release of 33 persons, it seems quite clear why they want to have as long intervals as possible between each hostage exchange.
Why the Israelis agreed to this I cannot understand, apart from the fact that they were forced to do so by the outgoing and incoming US administrations.

As far as the question of rapes of hostages occurring during Hamas captivity, the perpetrators themselves have provided evidence. Starting last December some videos of rapes by Hamas have been made publicly available. One even has what appears to be Arabic chanting in the background. In many cases the physical backgrounds are well furnished flats. In one case the depravity clearly takes place is a high rise apartment building. It is a mockery to consider they are supposedly living in refugee camps. Also, when you get the chance to view them you may note the sarcastic and insulting nature of the videos.
I recall reading that vladtepesblog had been forced to pull pictures and videos of ISIS misconduct. It read like they came under some significant pressure. While a website has the right to decide what appears there, the arm twisting at vladtepesblog causes some concern.
I have written a number of reports about these horrible videos. The reports are available to anyone who wants them.

Israel has not agreed to give up on their efforts to end Hamas as a threat and return all the hostages. This deal will bring some home and is also important to Israel. Don’t give up on them.
After all are released I hope Netanyahu and IDF turn into a Pit bull with aids and destroys ever person who belongs to Hamass.
It isn't as if there is an easy choice for them.
That's exactly why Hamas will NEVER release all of the hostages.
