Hundreds marched downtown Madison in preparation for President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday.

The event is described as "freedoms against relentless attack on our communities."

According to the People's March's website the march was in support of:

Women’s Rights

Workers’ Rights

Abortion Rights

Trans Rights

Immigrant Rights

Global Solidarity (Palestine, Lebanon, Congo, Sudan)

Environmental Justice

Housing Justice

"It's all needs to be addressed," one attendee said.

"It's just about all of us together," another attendee added. "We have to come together for each other."

Mia Kruzer called for the event and said she wanted an opportunity to bring likeminded people together.

"I felt like it was important to really show that we are a community. There are bigger people's marches like DC or Chicago. But it's so important to know community and to find your name within like the Madison area itself," she said.

The event, also largely in protest of President-elect Donald Trump.

"People are getting anxious. People are getting nervous. People are starting to, you know, realize what's going to be in store for us for the next four years," Mya Cullen, a march volunteer said.

The rally started at James Madison Park at 1pm and moved to the Wisconsin State Capitol by 2:30 p.m.

100 Socialists had a parade in, 'The People's Republic of Madistan' yesterday.

Sadly, these same idiots will be reaping the benefits of four more years of President Trump. Ugh!

Is this the same group who march as the “Marching Dildoes” in the gay parades?

Yeah - I’d be sure to sit up and take notice and follow a person like that...What did she say?

Are they going to march against Newscum and Bass for “housing justice”? Or do the fires actually advance that cause?

Looks like a bunch of childless cat ladies mixed in with some flaming homosexuals. All white Leftists.

That’s the majority of the base of today’s Democrat party.

Liberals have to protest to survive. It’s makes them have them a feeling of really doing something instead of really doing something. While they enjoy their childish chant of “hey hey, ho ho” the rest of us just go about our daily tasks.

And what is that, Mya? A recovering economy? A thriving job market? Fewer third-world criminals leeching off of our economy? What is it that makes you nervous, Mya?

Don’t worry; the Trump Administration has no intention of making it illegal to dye your hair blue or pierce and tat your face all up.

“It’s all needs to be addressed,” one attendee said.“

You mean these things haven’t been addressed during the past four years? How odd.

Someone reported from that march in DC yesterday. In 2017 there were estimated 500,000 there. Yesterday, maybe 50,000. No celebs like Madonna, Cher, etc.

I think Wisconsin is where the pinkos did a sit-in at the state capitol.

Hundreds. Hundreds? Come on man. People in Wisconsin do nothing but drink beer and watch football. There’s football games on. Am I right? If so the guys are girlie men but with those women you never know. With those kind it’s easier to get laid.
