Foreign dignitaries, domestic politicians, and billionaire investors alike have flocked to the Palm Beach resort to meet with the incoming president, some of whom have brought with them economic and/or ideological offerings.
President-elect Donald Trump’s past few months have been unusually busy for an incoming president and have seen him notch key agenda wins before even returning to office.
With President Joe Biden essentially absent from the public eye, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate has taken on the role of a shadow White House, from which he has begun to operate a sort of pre-presidential administration.
Foreign dignitaries, domestic politicians, and billionaire investors alike have flocked to the Palm Beach resort to meet with the incoming president, some of whom have brought with them economic and/or ideological offerings. His reach has extended well beyond the confines of his compound, reverberating across allied nations while he and his surrogates work to seemingly push out opposition figures leading key American partners.
Here’s a look at his biggest moves while waiting to reclaim the Oval Office:
Deposing Trudeau
Outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speedily traveled to Mar-a-Lago after Trump floated the possibility of imposing tariffs on the country. The meeting was widely panned in Canadian media and even led to comedic skits depicting Trudeau eating a Big Mac without the use of his hands at Trump’s behest.
The president-elect’s subsequent retorts referring to Trudeau as the “governor” of Canada further belittled his status in the eyes of the Canuck electorate. Already struggling in the polls, Trump’s proposition of making Canada the 51st state seems to have helped fuel Trudeau’s already significant decline in public opinion and he subsequently announced his plans to resign once the Liberal Party selected his replacement.

Nature abhors a vacuum, and the FJB administration was a vacuum.
I still think that the inauguration should be at Mar-a-Lago and that the White House should be empty for 4 years. Stay in Florida. It’s safer.
If Joe was REALLY capable, he’d be angry at that. But no one is at the helm in DC
I have thought the same thing.
Someone has to run the country.
Why do they say nothing about Obama’s shadow government?
“Someone has to run the country.”
We, the people run the country,
President and Congress run the Government.
Supreme court is supposed to make sure we
all follow the rules
as written in the constitution.
We the people can change those rules anytime we
wish to, following the constitution rules of course.
Well why not? We have no president at present - nor for the last few years.
The first rule of Obama’s shadow government is you don't talk about Obama’s shadow government.
The second rule of Obama’s shadow government is...🤡
They are all Kissing Trumps Ring.
Sounds like a plan.
Okay, do they always say “SHADOW White House”?
For his MANY vacations and goof-off sessions, Joe Biden has been away more than other Presidents. No complaints from the lapdog media.
Camp David is usually called the Summer White House since FDR and Dwight Eisenhower retreated there.

Multiple Homes Mean More Costly Protection For Presidents

President Trump has two residences outside of the White House. That arrangement is very expensive for taxpayers, and it turns out, there is a federal law that tries to tame such spending.

With a completely demented perv as President and an incompetent, missing VP, someone has to take charge and it is obviously no one in the corrupt Biden Administration.
As to the 2nd White House, watch for a beach and a sleeping Joe Biden since 2020.
The 82-year-old US president has taken 570 vacation days which is 40% of his four-year presidency.
As of last week.
PLEASE HOLD THE INAUGURATION AT MAR A LAGO!!!!!!
PLEASE!!!!!

Agreed on Mar-!
“I still think that the inauguration should be at Mar-a-Lago and that the White House should be empty for 4 years. Stay in Florida. It’s safer.”
I have advocated for years that the Presidential residence should be moved to Camp David with the WH used for state dinners and official functions but otherwise kept as a museum.
