The suspects made an unsuccessful attempt to cut a lock to uniform storage
Three Humvees and other military equipment were stolen from an Army Reserve Center in Tustin, California earlier this week, according to police.
Unknown suspects entered a storage warehouse at the Army Reserve Center on Wednesday between 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., Tustin Police wrote in a press release.
Multiple storage lockers at the facility were found with removed locks and missing gear.
The suspects made an unsuccessful attempt to cut a lock to uniform storage.
Police said the suspects cut a fence to gain access to a military vehicle parking lot, where they stole three Humvees.
The suspects left the area at an unknown time, according to police.
In total, the suspects stole one armored Humvee, two cloth-door Humvees, eight machine gun vehicle mounts, seven freestanding machine gun tripods, 40 pairs of binoculars, 18 bayonets and medical equipment.
The Army told police it is not aware of any additional loss of weapons or ammunition.
Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact law enforcement.

Buckle up!
Sheesh. Good thing ‘they’ didn’t cut the fence after stealing humvees and equipmwent. Cartel bound?
No security cameras? Or not working, ala Epstein.
It’s like our government isn’t even trying anymore.
Why would bayonets not be locked? In my unit back in the day, all weapons and ammunition locked up. No way anyone gets to them before law enforcement loaded for bear shows up.
What about the KEYS to the Humvees? ๐๐๐
They're not recruiting our "best and brightest" lately.
>>>>No security cameras? Or not working, ala Epstein.<<<<
With the advancements in technology concerning security, this should never have happened in the first place, especially at a facility like this.

I wonder if the Humvees were equipped with tracking devices?
Sounds as if the thieves already have the machine guns, they just need the additional equipment to look “legit” and be more effective in whatever they are planning. This is scary, folks!
“...Inside job. They’re not recruiting our “best and brightest” lately....”
Most likely.
It all starts with leadership: “When a fish stinks, the head stinks first.”
It goes right to the very top, too.
An old preacher back in the 1950s was said something to the affect that “when God judges a nation, He does so by starting with the allowance of crappy leadership.”
Not saying we’re under judgement, but it’s pretty fair to say we’ve been experiencing some obvious “crappy leadership” for awhile now.
Was that the day Biden was there?
They tried to steal uniforms...
All those strong, military age men illegally crossing our borders?
That was my question. I guess they were in the ignition or the fobs in the cup holders. Genius.
Reminds me of the ISIS beginning in Afghanistan...
24 Humvees driving down the road with U.S. weaponry. OBAMA did nothing to stop them.
The National Guard in Tustin Calfornia had lousy security. Someone should resign their commission.
Every part of government has been thoroughly corrupted.
No guard(s) posted?
A military facility stocked with weaponry should be actively guarded - sensors, cams, foot patrol.
Ah, corrupt-O-fornia. Put a fork in it. It’s done.
Wall it off and make sure that the leftists are kept in, along with the felons that they love so much. When all is done, perhaps we can come in, disinfect it, and restore civilization as we know it to the remaining mess.
We’re in more trouble than we realize.
