An emergency alert issuing an evacuation warning for all of Los Angeles County was sent out by accident, according to officials.
City officials from Santa Monica, Long Beach and other areas took to social media to reiterate that the message was sent in error.

At least LA got a warning. Most victims of the Lahaina Fire received no such warning.
With the rampant corrupt officials, illegals, panhandlers, muggers, car jackers, prostitutes and drag queens in Los Angeles, why wasn’t evacuation a good strategy.

You’re right about that. Deadly mismanagement, top to bottom.
There are no longer any hard-asses in local government. Maybe anywhere, for that matter, to tune up (and size up) younger professionals early on and keep the yayhoos from taking the helm. The results have been disastrous. Someone —yes (gasp!) a specific individual, was responsible for the accuracy of communications from that agency, particularly under emergency conditions. Back in the day, that individual would no longer be a part of the organization, effective immediately. Based upon what I’ve seen of Los Angeles’ public employees, I’ll guess wildly that this person is not a white male, as this has not happened.
I mean... the warning wasn’t in error. Everyone with two brain cells to rub together *should* leave LA County....

this error occurred probably when it went through a dozen management people. No one picked it up because they are all on the DEI page. If you need a visual of the chain of events leading to the error just go TO mayor basses questioning at LAX when she arrived from her foreign junket.
It says a lot when the government takes to a bunch of message boards and chat rooms to correct a bogus government directive or warning.
