Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass spent Tuesday in Africa as part of a taxpayer-funded delegation attending the inauguration of John Dramani Mahama as Ghana’s president. The Democrat was there as her city battled wildfires and thousands of residents fled for their lives.
CNS News reports Shalanda D. Young, the director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, headed the delegation to Accra, Ghana’s capital.
It also consisted of Virginia E. Palmer, the U.S. ambassador to Ghana, and Frances Z. Brown, special assistant to the president and the National Security Council’s senior director for African affairs alongside Bass.

There is literally 0 reasons for a city mayor to be attending a foreign presidential inauguration outside of some kind of personal relationship.
These people think of themselves as royalty above the filthy commoners.

Think global but act local …. or something like that .
LA obviously needs to have an Afro centric foreign policy which is only fair since Bass is governing LA using time tested African political and economic governing principles

Bass happy in Ghana? Let her stay there.

LA residents tell Bass she's "useless."

LA just got lucky. Having her out of town is just one obstacle interfering with the people who know what they are doing.

History repeats itself. All we need is Linda Ronstadt and some Medflies.
Jerry Brown went to Africa with Linda Ronstadt in April 1979. Specifically, they visited Kenya and Liberia, with plans to also go to Tanzania13. The trip garnered significant media attention, with reporters and photographers following the couple closely. (perplexity.ai)

Ghana’s officials may be less corrupt than those of Los Angeles. Think about that for a minute.

The people who voted for Democrats better wake up for their own welfare. The people in charge are elitists who are lazy, corrupt and incompetent.

The voters who put these elitists in charge are also lazy, corrupt and incompetent as well. Also stupid and ignorant.
