Rudy Giuliani held in contempt of court for trying to ‘run out the clock’ on $148M owed to Georgia election workers

Rudy Giuliani was held in contempt of court Monday and accused of trying to “run out the clock” to avoid paying his $148 million defamation verdict — which may now cost him his $3.5 million Florida condo.

Manhattan federal court Judge Lewis Liman found the former Big Apple mayor in contempt twice for blowing through deadlines and not turning over key information ahead of a Jan. 16 trial over whether he has to give up the Florida abode and his prized Yankees World Series rings.

Giuliani owes the multi-million dollar tab to Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea “Shaye” Moss after falsely claiming the pair tried to steal the 2020 election from President-elect Donald Trump.

The 80-year-old former US Attorney for the Southern District of New York has argued that the two women should not be able to take his Palm Beach, Fla., home as they move to collect the massive judgment, because it’s his main residence.

They were 100% guilty and belong in Federal prison. Is there any recourse for Rudy and victimized Georgians?

If they really are 100% guilty, why didn’t Rudy ever present any evidence supporting that claim?

Rudy is a well experienced lawyer and officer of the court, so he has always known how this would end up. He’ll be lucky to avoid custody before it’s done.

At 80 years old I would go scorched earth. Rings would disappear, property would burn, etc...

Even if Giuliani were guilty, a $148M award unconscionable.

$148 million is outrageous. Judgments like this in the US must stop. Why doesn’t the court intervene concerning the amount?

First in with we have held the court system in contempt even before the outrageous lawfare against Trump and his associates.

Gen.Flynn, Manafort, Steve Bannon, Roger Stone....

In the History TV series about American gangsters they showed the quite young newcomer Rudy facing down the mob. Later he cleaned up the muggings and street harassers of citizens by stop, question and frisk.

They never had it so good cleaning up crime.

Of course they later canceled it all and let the criminals have the upper hand since then.

Enjoy it, Dem voters in NYC.

Since the corrupt judge is dragging Florida into this, the Florida Governor should get involved.

Yes. Stalin would blush in Hell if he weren’t already red faced from the Lake of Fire down there.

NY courts are like the mafia. Hopefully the DOJ can find some way federally to hold them accountable.

I think the solution is to go after Democrats 10 times as hard. Ruin them financially, and their children, and their grandchildren. And their lawyers. And their judges. Throw everybody in prison. Totally scorched earth. Then, the Democrats will be the ones to lead the charge to make lawfare illegal. And we can say, “Well ... if you insist ...”

Because if Republicans push legislation to make lawfare illegal, the Democrats will just kill it dead. We need to make THEM want it more than we do.

For 148 Million he could hire some central american ex-guerrilla types to take out the “victims”, their lawyers, and the judge that allowed that award.

If I’m not mistaken, the judge wouldn’t allow Rudy to present video evidence to the court of the two women pulling out luggage that was stuffed with illegal ballots.

Rudy and Mike Lindell have been hurt more by the Maoists’ lawfare jihad than any other prominent person in the country.
