President-elect Trump is planning to attend the funeral of former President Carter, he said Tuesday.
Asked by The Associated Press as he walked into a New Year’s Eve party at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, Trump said “I’ll be there.” Trump declined to share whether he had spoken to members of Carter’s family.
Carter died peacefully Sunday in Plains, Ga., according to the Carter Center. He turned 100 in October, making him the longest-lived president in the nation’s history.
Trump frequently criticized Carter’s administration on the campaign trail, comparing the rising inflation rates of the 1970s to inflation today in attacks against President Biden. However, the former president wrote in a tributes to Carter after his death that the 39th president did “everything in his power to improve the lives of all Americans.”
While Trump said he “strongly disagreed” with Carter “philosophically and politically,” he recognized that the former president “truly loved and respected our Country and all it stands for.”

I wonder if Biden will be able to give the eulogy without trashing on Trump or past/present Republicans.
As the old democrats start dying off the blackmail parachute gets more holes. The Biden family will eventually be exposed completely.
Especially if Trump is in the front row.
However, it wouldn’t surprise me if president taterhead didn’t make the whole thing up in his own empty coconut.

No he didn’t. He applied his stupid discredited brain-dead ideology and when that failed he blamed America. He was helpless in the face of the destruction he’d wrought. You’d think that someone who had attained the presidency would have a greater sense of responsibility and history than to sit and bitch but otherwise do nothing good. And that’s the main factor at the center of the twentieth century “liberal”; they don’t HAVE to do good, they ARE good and cannot be improved upon by success.

Say what you want about Carter. He sucked as a president but at least he didn’t get an envelope at H’s funeral.

If only Biden would croak, we could have a two-fer hearse parade and a lying-in-state. Get it over with.
These funerals are organized. Don’t forget...Trump is already a former President and that group should be altogether.
I was wondering if he would be invited. Hopefully, he was.
