Glaude: Greed, Selfishness, Hatred Is ‘at the Heart of Trumpism’
Breitbart ^ | 12/31/2024 | Pam Key

Posted on 12/31/2024 6:06:11 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Princeton University professor Eddie Glaude, Jr. claimed on Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that greed, selfishness, and hatred motivate the voters for President-elect Donald Trump.

Glaude said, “Its an important point that requires I think a bit truth-telling about the Republican Party in its modern iteration. There’s always been at least these three elements corporatists, libertarian and nativist. Right. So this is a really important point, right? In the sense that you’ve always had these three components and Ronald Reagan was able to balance them in interesting sorts of ways.”

He continued, “And so we have here is the plutocrat, right, in Elon Musk, right? Greed, you know, pulling, kind of advancing his interests and you have right-wing populism that sometimes is expressed in terms of an emphasis in the American worker but it takes the form of xenophobia, it takes the form of nativism, it takes the form of hatred.”

We have reached a stunning national consensus -— we have not lived in anything resembling the nation that was envisioned by our Founders. That is about to be reversed, dramatically evidenced in 2024’s presidential election when a broad coalition voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump.

greed is part of the american way. personal greed feeds the american dream. greed is a great motivator. one can only share the wealth if only first one accumulates it. government should not be the vehicle for accumulating wealth, but it has become that.

More projection. It is all those on the left have. Fueled by hatred and missing the key ingredient to having a life of inner peace: a grace filled relationship with Jesus Christ.

“we have not lived in anything resembling the nation that was envisioned by our Founders”

The Great Compromise is the most perfect example of this, the 17th Amendment is right behind.

I bet everything that he never actually had a conversation with a Trump supporter.

This speaks so much to me. It tells me that:
1. You have to be a lying and instigating POS to be a professor at Princeton University.
2. This guy has TDS, and it’s infected his brain to point he is incapable of continuing in a professional manner. (ie. He should be terminated). Simply put, HATRED has infected his judgement.
3. Greed, should be defined by two US POTUS’s and their chosen Treasury Secretary-Janet Yellen, accounting for 24.5 Trillion of our 36 Trillion dollar National Debt.
a. Most of the money spent was payoffs and money laundering or simply government ‘Work-fare’ to hide the disastrous economic and manufacturing policies.
b. Almost none of the money was ever effectively used for ‘Infrastructure’ as promised.
c. The other funds, have a propensity to ‘bail out’ liberal companies such as Solyndra and many other ‘green’ failures that were never green, or to start them in the first place.
4. Selfishly, the democrats, the Haters (TDS), the Government grifters, have destroyed SS funds and the future of the next generation.

The guy needs to be unemployed, and spend some time looking in a mirror at GREED, SELFISHNESS, and HATRED, because that is all he supports.

What’s the first thing you think of when you hear “Eddie”?

Lying, ideology and hatred has long been at the heart of Academia. There used to be a time a couple generations ago, when most in Academia were Lefties but there were still professional standards. They still recognized objective truth. That’s all gone now and has been gone for at least a generation. Everything is about their Leftist/Globalist/Gaia Worshiping ideology. If you do not toe the line and simply regurgitate their dogma, you will not be hired and if you’ve somehow managed to slip through and get hired, you will never get tenure. Academia - most especially in the Ivy League - is rotten to the core.

There’s always been at least these three elements corporatists, libertarian and nativist.

Corporatist -- This is historically related to Fascism. Mussolini was a big believer in corporatism: 'All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.' So this is about Big Government. Always bigger, bigger, bigger. More power. More intrusion. But this doesn't sound like Trump and his DOGE effort.

Libertarian -- This is historically socially liberal and fiscally conservative. So, that seems like the opposite of his first point. Libertarian Fascism doesn't seem like a thing.

Nativist -- Historically, this means opposition to immigration. But, since Trump is simply in favor of enforcing existing immigration laws, he is not really against immigration to even the slightest degree.

In short: this professor is speaking complete crap.
