I’m hearing two very different goal statements from the upcoming presidency. Hopefully, they will unify soon, preferably before Jan 20th
I’m hopeful because the blowback against Musk and Vivek is huge. Over half of the Republican base is seriously angry.
We moved mountains for Trump and we have every right to DEMAND that they stay true to their promises.
Until Trump tells us what he wants to do, don’t make assumptions. Musk and Vivek have no official positions in the new administration.
The take on Americans not being qualified is based on averages.
If you look at certain segments of society they are quite competitive with foreign labor.
It’s the same thing in statistics other than education. Take two racial groups out of the mix and the US has a murder rate on par with Finland.
At this stage of the game my money’s on JD, but we’ll see.
H1B is fraught with fraud. The category needs to be terminated and a new visa category created with very strict and very specific rules. The problem is all those rules will go out the door as soon as the Democrats are back.
