Live.
I for one am sick and tired of this annual late Advent drama.
But still, glad it’s over for another year.
The vote was 85-11.
I’m looking for the list of 11 NO
4 NV
Oh joy!
We may have absorbed another bullet to the head, but hey, no Washingtonian was harmed in the making of this rancid sausage. 🥰
Alright- this went too fast - how’d we get screwed over?
Both wings of the Uniparty claim victory.
You know what that means.
Every citizen who works hard and plays by the rules LOST again.
The good news is Trump isn’t running for re-election nor is he looking to make friends in the media or the swamp.
You NEVER reach out to your enemies when they are truly your mortal enemies.
Speaking of mortal enemies is the Deep State still clinging to the fiction that 20 year old dietary assistant who took a shot at Trump and murdered and wounded innocents acted alone?
"The Art of the Deal".
💯.
That seems to be a standard operating procedure for presidential assassinations or attempts.
More than 60 years have passed since JFK was shot and we are still waiting.
Of. Course.

You are going to keep waiting, too. The one thing that you will never hear from the Government, be it National, State, or Local is the truth.
Piping the odor of jet fuel into the chamber as a stroke of genius.
Before the vote a news person said there have been 31 past government shutdowns.
Leftist media remember a couple to blame on Newt or Trump as if the “democracy” is about to be destroyed as children are denied food card aid, senior lose Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are gone, the military stands down around the world and America comes to a halt.
Except it doesn’t.
Their new gripe is “look at how much money is lost by the shutdowns.”
I looked through the window outside and the street lights were on, people were driving places an airliner in the night sky was heading toward the air traffic controlled airport and it looked like the nation had not come to a halt in an eerie stillness.
I knew at that moment our elected officials in DC had avoided the impossible horror of our going without federal bureaucracy for a brief time.
Soooooo relieved.
As Rush Limbaugh used to say, there is a government shutdown every weekend and holidays too. 😂
“Every citizen who works hard and plays by the rules LOST again.”
The vast majority of the funding in the bill was for various aspects of disaster relief that Trump and most Republicans support. I personally don’t feel like I lost because Trump and the Republicans in Congress wanted to help hurricane victims freezing in tents in the North Carolina winter. Almost all the insane stuff was stripped out of the bill, which went from 1500 pages to 118.
And actually, yes, you do reach out to your enemies if you want any of Trump’s agenda to get passed. Continuing resolutions like this one required a 2/3 majority to pass. And of course regular bills require 60 votes in the Senate to avoid a filibuster. Trump’s agenda and accomplishments will be very limited if he can’t make deals to get some Dem support sometimes. That’s how our government is set up, and the GOP majority is far too small to overcome that.
