New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy warned Thursday that the staggering influx of drone sightings over the Garden State the past few weeks — though harmless — is a “wake-up call” to the country’s vulnerability to potential foreign drone attacks.
“Now we can say this based on the most sophisticated drone detection systems on the planet that started to arrive in New Jersey last Friday and Saturday, there is no public threat here, period. I could say that unequivocally,” Murphy said on News 12 New Jersey’s “Ask Gov. Murphy” program.
But that doesn’t mean Jersey or the country as a whole is not at risk, he added.
“The part that should worry really out there is the vulnerability that we as a nation have to drone incursions,” Murphy said. “It’s a big issue.”
The Democrat said the drone activity is “a benign wake-up call” to the US’s vulnerability to foreign forces — unlike, by comparison, the 9/11 terror attacks’ “tragic wake-up call.”

Murphy is not sober by 6:00pm. Has no inherent idea why the drones are flying and is not able to deal with the situation
Typical. Dopey Democrats use platitudes like “wake up call” after willfully opening the borders and spending like pretend trillionares.
what is this BS
just shoot them down
My cousin said a friend of his that is retired NYPD sent a photo of a police drone caught on photo that came down 3 days ago. It’s ours, so who the hell is SPYING ON US?
They want to uncover which civilians have acquired shoulder fired SAMs.
Government inaction in controlling the drones will flush those taking matters into their own hands.
From what I’ve discovered, I believe they are radiological detectors and that there’s a nuke - or radioactive material - that’s moving toward NYC. Detonation or release might be next week. I don’t think there are many of us worth that effort to “spy on”.
The only thing I haven’t figured out about the drones is why they waited until after the election. They could have used them as their latest excuse for why voting rules had to be more lax and stuff like they did the china virus.
First illegals, now drones. Send both back....somewhere.
Only in states where citizens are disarmed.
We won’t be vulnerable to such simple devices once we have a real Commander in Chief.
More and more the mysterious drone “invasion” seems like a false flag meant to get another overreaching Patriot-type bill passed to use against J6-type peasants.
Seems the lost nuclear material has not been located or the material is so well insulated the nuclear radiation detection
equipment cannot locate it.
Did the Chinese Communist Party buy land next to Military bases in the US so they can spy on them with Drones ?
The FBI and Homeland security would do well to research who bought large amounts of lead foil from hardware stores or non medical purchasers of lead aprons. Little doubt that nuclear material is being shielded. Some clerk or floorperson probably remembers a large unusual purchase. Not much time left before the inaugeration.
And USAF and ATC can’t tell us what all these drones are? From where?
There is an apparent national defense vulnerability here, at least until we get some answers
A genius. Damn, where do we get such excellent leadership?
Simple solution. Send a bunch of rednecks to NJ and it is either the government tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth or they’ll eliminate the problem whomever the drones belong to. I’ve been all for the military keeping their operations secret but it’s come to the point of enough is enough.
Maybe but explain why we’re only sniffing at night? The bad guys could move the device to the other side of the country during daylight hours when no one is supposedly sniffing.
When you’re shipping this stuff, aren’t you required to have guards? So, where were the guards and have they been arrested?
So, follow the drones home already.
Why do we allow foreign countries to own US soil? We can’t just willy nilly own land in China much less at the gates of their military bases. Yeah, well, they don’t roll out the red carpet for any and everyone to wander in.
