A convicted bank robber freed early from federal prison on a “compassionate release” program is heading back to the slammer for the same crime for which he was originally sent away.
Markham David Bond was found guilty by a federal jury in Los Angeles on Thursday on one count of interference with commerce by robbery, one count of using a firearm during a crime of violence, and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, according to the US Department of Justice.
Bond, 61, robbed a Brinks courier at gunpoint in a Chase bank parking lot near LAX on Aug. 18, 2023.

He’s 61, so that’s the only job skill he has...............
I admire his dedication and persistence!
Just couldn’t live on the out side.
Missed his boy friends
Institutionalized.
I think there are a lot of people that go back to prison because they don’t know how to cope on the outside.
Getting a real job is too tough for them.
I gotta find a better hiding place for my stash. I never figured they'd crack that one.
You can’t help some people.
Well,”Brooks” (Shawshank Redemption) was in for something like 50 years before his release. Big difference here.
What’s your name?
Bond.... David Bond.
You’re right.
He might have even committed another crime to get back in
He’s a good candidate to replace any of the Dem “living” corpse members of Congress or when one of their cartoon character Reps or Senators finally goes full on Looney Tunes and bounces off to the sunset while doing a weird laugh.
More than likely, he’s been completely institutionalized and longs to get back to the order and routine of prison life, where he doesn’t have to worry about earning a living and his daily life is outlined for him.
He was happy with his structured prison life.

Can we assume he filled out the paper work for a felon buying a handgun and passed the waiting period?
“Bonds was on supervised release when he robbed “
where was the supervisor?
They are institutionalized. Their survival skills are built around prison and not around being free.
