The FBI said Wednesday it had no answers regarding dozens of drone sightings reported across New Jersey’s night skies in recent weeks.

Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh said during a Wednesday afternoon briefing there was “no evidence these are coming from a foreign entity or the work of an adversary.”
She also refuted a claim by U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew who said the drones were being launched by an Iranian mothership. “No there is not any truth to that,” said Singh.

New Jersey officials ‘frustrated’ after drone meeting [see comment below for details of that meeting]. It was a frustrating day for state and local officials wanting new details. New Jersey state Rep. Brian Bergen told NewsNation the meeting was a “waste of time” and that he’s not getting enough information from officials.
“There were no answers,” he said. “Every question that was asked by members of the state legislature? No answers. No resolution. They don’t know where the drones are coming from. They don’t know who is doing it. They don’t know why they’re doing it. But they say there’s no credible threat.”
Middletown Mayor Tony Perry said a recent reported sighting over Naval Weapons Station Earle was particularly concerning.
“We had one confirmed drone directly over the top of Earle,” he told NewsNation. “If anybody knows Naval Weapons Station Earle, if you come within 500 feet of Earle, they’re already authorized to fire upon you when you’re just a fishing boat. Unfortunately, it seems like we’re unable to take any action when a foreign, unauthorized drone is flying above.”

Reports indicate that while officials from the Department of Homeland Security were present, the absence of FBI representatives and the governor was notable and raised concerns among local leaders. They were seeking clarity on the origins and purposes of the drones, especially given their proximity to sensitive locations like military bases and the Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster.

Many mayors and state lawmakers were perplexed by the conflicting statements coming from the FBI and the Pentagon.

However, there have been reports of drones spraying a substance into the air, which sounds potentially dangerous.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon stated that its initial assessment is that these drones are not linked to any foreign entity or adversary, emphasizing that there are no known credible threats associated with the drone sightings. They claim not to know anything about the drones, yet simultaneously assert that our adversaries aren’t involved and that they are not threatening.
I read a lengthy article at The War Zone earlier this morning and the only point made in thousands of words was that the government doesn't know anything and has nothing to tell us.
Of course, the FBI says, "We've got the matter under investigation so if you in the public learn anything or take any good photos or videos, please give us a call."

If I was the Gov. of New Jersey, i would call on the National guard to scramble Apache Helicopters and shoot them down. Why are they f@cking around with these things. If I see one over my house ,I’m opening fire on it!

Hmmm...Jesus said their would be strange signs in the heavens. And oh yeah, that Jerusalem would be a cup of trembling for all people, that Israel would be surrounded by her enemies and that Damascus would be in for a whole lot of trouble.
These used to be all over our skies on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We would stand on the porch with a cup of coffee and watch the sky guys.
