President Joe Biden should issue preemptive pardons to his political allies and those deemed to be on President-elect Donald Trump’s alleged “enemies list,” Democrats and their media allies believe.
Delivering a preemptive pardon indicates an admission of guilt, although Democrats claim a preemptive pardon would only be intended to block Trump from targeting his political foes.
Democrats and media elites list those deserving a preemptive pardon as Christopher Wray, Justice Department lawyers, Joe Biden (himself), the whole Biden family, Liz Cheney, Mark Milley, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Adam Kinzinger, among others.

Are “preemptive pardons” even a thing?
They’re really scared. They know they broke the law and committed treason.
If FJB does this it was be so transparently corrupt that it will never withstand the public outrage.
The Humper pardon alone has even Democrats outraged.

These are the same people who wish to rip up the Constitution.
They’re not convicted yet.
How do these people get a reputation for being the smart ones?
Pardon them & they will be the same oness to come back to cause more trouble. I believe with the new administration coming up that we are trying to bring some sanity & honesty back to our country. Pardoning these guilty ones would not be the way to go about it.

You know, the only reason the blanket pardon of Nixon held up was that no one cared to challenge it.
I wouldn’t bet that would be the case this time. Especially in the cases where no crimes have been admitted and no one has been charged with anything yet.
Might make for an interesting case before the Supreme Court.
So are you suggesting that, “Pardoning these guilty ones would not be the way to go about it” and somehow that would be the WRONG THING for Joey to do?
Remember, Joey is famous and consistent for being on the WRONG side of issues for his entire political career.
That said, I fully expect Joey to issue Dozens of preemptive Pardons.
On the other hand, if Joey wants to really screw the Dems, he will issue NOTHING.
What’s Joey’s Motivation?
Hunter’s pardon is presumptive, meaning he is pardoned for any Federal crime he committed since January 1st, 2014. If Biden does offer pardons to his allies, it is a tacit admission of their guilt. Trump should pardon Biden for very specific acts of accepting bribes and mishandling classified documents and even aiding and abetting enemy states. Would Joe turn down such an offer?

I always thought that you needed to have been convicted to receive a pardon but Ford pardoned Nixon without even a formal charge.

Can Trump then pardon everyone in his administration for every crime they might commit in the four years starting January 20, 2024?
Yesterday they published a list of criminals.
Today they publish the desire to pardon those same criminals.
They really do want party membership to have its privileges.
