China may also be urging him to do so.Russia is a failed state with nukes and Putin probably figures that he has nothing left to lose.

Add to that his knowledge that NATO is a hollow shell thanks largely to Biden's breathtaking weakness and you have the potential of a really bad situation.

Now lets get to reality instead of fantasy. If a bunch of country’s got together and started bombing the US with non-nuclear weapons to the point that we were in deep trouble then the US would use nuclear weapons. In the end it is all about survival.
